H 5 )), and their palladium complexes (PdLCl 2 ) were synthesized. The compounds were characterized using 1 H NMR and 13 C NMR spectroscopy and micro analysis. Also, electrochemical properties of the ligands and Pd(II) complexes were investigated in dimethylformamide-LiClO 4 solution with cyclic and square wave voltammetry techniques. The Pd(II) complexes showed both reversible and quasi-reversible processes in the À1.5 to 0.3 V potential range. The synthesized Pd(II) complexes were evaluated as catalysts in Mizoroki-Heck and Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
