Cittalow (Slow City) is a model that preserves existing values and prepares the ground for renewable resources. It finds its application field with a more social and interactive philosopy of life that is different from the lifestyle of the modern world. As a local development model, it maintains the historical and natural values of the city and has a slow and local understanding model, it maintains the historical and natural values of the city and has a slow and local understanding of staying. Every day in the world and Cittaslow town in Turkey sees increase in the number. This movement that started in Italy in 1999 is now being carried to urban dimensions in 262 cities in 30 countries with implementation projects. In the study, Cittaslow Model is evaluated by public relations perspective; city branding/ promotion and target audience awareness. The ways in which cities express themselves, the processes of identity formation and the ways of communication with the target audience are discussed. The study is limited to the Cittaslow projects and their reflections on the social networks of 7 cities that have adopted the Cittaslow Model and are accepted as members. The strategies that they follow in communication with the target audience and the public relations practices used are among the subjects of the study. This study is important in realizing this situation with public relations practices and communication strategies that integrate urban understanding with identity, emphasize cities with their exidting values and enrich them with modern technological innovations and aim to create a positive behavioral change in the target audience.
