This paper will discuss and practically explore the interdependence between information technology and linguistics in the modern information society. The relationship between information technology and linguistics, which has opened new opportunities in linguistic research, will be practically seen in the application of linguistic engineering in researching rules of language. The aim of this paper is to extend knowledge about the possibilities of application of information technologies in researching rules of language, as well as emphasizing the importance that language technologies have in the fi eld of linguistic research, preservation of language and culture and national identity.
The development of a regular teaching process in the Republic of Srpska is clearly defined by the Law on Primary and Secondary School Education. Due to the appearance of the COVID-19 in our country, work in all primary and secondary schools was suspended on March 11, 2020, in accordance with the decision of the Government of the Republic of Srpska. For this reason, education in the Republic of Srpska has been forced, in a very short time, to move from traditional ways of teaching to a completely new way of working, using all available resources of e-learning. In this paper, we will show and explore how secondary school education has faced the challenge of e-learning. The paper will cover an online survey of students and teachers of two secondary schools (public and private one). This paper will also show all analyzed resources, methods, and strategies used in e-teaching, problems that teachers and students came across in this forced distance learning, ways of overcoming these problems, and advantages and disadvantages of this form of teaching. It will also contain some steps suggested to improve e-learning system in our schools.
Using the available literature, this paper attempts to present the company ‘s approach to IoT modeling and the incorporation of IoT technologies into business processes. Furthermore, a comprehensive overview of IoT technologies and systems of large corporations (Yokogawa, Intel) and commercial access to IoT technologies is provided. In conclusion, based on previous knowledge and scientifically based arguments, the advantages and disadvantages of IoT technologies are presented.
