The healthcare environment is rapidly changing and is being transformed to meet new challenges aging and chronics. New opportunities by means of ubiquitous computing technologies are playing an increasingly important role in healthcare fields. As ubiquitous computing technologies are flowing into healthcare fields, various Korean healthcare organizations are eager to adopt these technologies, calling uHealth. However, it is difficult to realize these new technologies soon because there are many relevant stakeholders and hurdles to overcome. Unlike many existing technologies, u-Health has broad issues in the respect of dealing with people's life. In this context, we offer an understandable picture for the successful development of u-Health projects in South Korea.
