Researchers have found that small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are also socially responsible, but corporate social responsibility (CSR) literature has been predominantly examined of larger enterprises. Besides, SMEs experience mo re difficulty than larger enterprises in CSR fulfillment. Based on resource‐based theory and green innovation theory, this paper contributes to CSR literature by examining the impact of SMEs’ green innovation on their CSR and the moderating roles of governmental regulations. By analyzing the questionnaire data from 269 manufacturing SMEs, we empirically find that: (1) There is an inverse U‐shaped curve between green innovation and manufacturing SMEs CSR; (2) Command‐and‐control environmental regulations and market‐based environmental regulations both have a moderating effect on the relationship between green innovation and manufacturing SMEs CSR fulfillment. The conclusions can effectively guide the executives of SMEs to fulfill their CSR and guide the formulation of relevant environmental policies for local government.
How energy businesses undergo digital transformation is a critical topic in light of China's “dual carbon” strategy. Based on institutional theory, upper‐echelon theory, and managerial‐mindset solidification, this article examines how regional environmental regulation affects the digital transformation of energy enterprises from 2016 to 2021 and the moderating role of the top management team in this transformation. The empirical findings show that regional environmental regulations significantly promote the digital transformation of energy companies; however, the average age, education level, and average tenure of the top management team can negatively influence this effect. The results of this study also lead to recommendations on how government agencies and energy enterprises should undertake digital transformation.
The elastoplastic phenomenon of the structures will be advent under the action of the strong earthquakes, the presented research on the vibration control of the ones is chiefly concentrated on fuzzy and neuro-controller with the expense of bigger energy. In the paper, the 3-storey benchmark building is used as research object, the control strategy of vibration system with fractional-order is studied. The control method based on acceleration responses output is emphatically concerned as it is usually adopted in most actual application of active vibration control techniques. The concrete courses include the following three steps: the integer-order approximation of fraction-order, the transfer function reduction in frequency-domain which base on Pade approximation, the controller design and simulation. In the last, an example is used to show the feasibility of proposed method.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
