Cet article s’intéresse à l’ancrage d’un évènement sportif patrimonial (ESP) dans son territoire, dans une perspective entrepreneuriale. Les auteures mobilisent la notion de territoire en tant qu’espace construit, ainsi que le concept de ressource territoriale, qu’elles articulent au cadre du business model. Leur recherche s’appuie sur une étude de cas longitudinale, portant sur une course-nature devenue le premier trail de France : le Festival des Templiers, à Millau. Les résultats permettent de proposer une modélisation de l’ancrage et révèlent quatre mécanismes de création et de partage de la valeur. Cette recherche contribue ainsi à outiller et documenter le récent concept d’ESP.
