Overtourism is a growing phenomenon in many destinations that has placed the management of tourist flows among its main challenges. The analysis of the cases of Barcelona and Palma, two cities that stand out among Spanish urban destinations, allows us to review the measures adopted by public administrations to manage this process. The results show the need to move towards integrated tourism governance to improve the management of urban destinations. To this end, a smart tourism planning that also serves to guide the recovery of the sector in the post-COVID era.
El overtourismes un fenómeno creciente en muchos destinos que ha situado la gestión de los flujos turísticos en la agenda política a escala local. El análisis de los casos de Barcelona y Palma, dos ciudades destacadas entre los destinos urbanos españoles, permite revisar las medidas adoptadas por parte de las administraciones públicas para gestionar este proceso. Los resultados muestran la necesidad de avanzar hacia una gobernanza turística integral para mejorar la gestión de los destinos urbanos. Para tal fin, se apuesta por una planificación turística inteligente que, además, sirva para guiar la recuperación del sector en la era post-COVID.
Bajo una apariencia general de continuidad, el Censo de Población de 1991 deja entrever algunos rasgos que constituyen signos inequí-vocos de ruptura respecto a censos anteriores. Así, aunque la mayoría de las tablas -y lo que es todavía más importante, las categorías que emplean éstas para la clasificación de los datos-respetan los criterios formales utilizados en el Censo inmediatamente anterior (1981), lo cierto es que la difusión de la información relativa a la operación de 1991 incorpora cambios de fondo de índole diversa.El Censo de 1991 es el primero en la historia española en el que se informatizan las características sociodemográficas recogidas a nivel individual de la totalidad de la población. El resultado final es un fichero completo que permite realizar cualquier explotación sobre el total de los censados y no sobre una muestra, como sucedía en operaciones anteriores. En este trabajo se presenta el diseño de un proyecto de investigación que cuenta con una doble finalidad. Por un lado, contribuir al conocimiento sobre las competencias y las necesidades de apoyo que presentan las familias con hijos adolescentes que padecen problemas de salud mental, tanto atendiendo al análisis de la literatura científica existente, como analizando las necesidades y las competencias que presentan este tipo de familias en nuestro contexto socio-cultural. Por otro lado, obtener la información necesaria para diseñar un programa de intervención destinado a apoyar y promover la parentalidad positiva en estas familias. De la información presentada se concluye que este proyecto se sitúa en consonancia con las recomendaciones nacionales e internacionales que instan al cambio desde modelos de la evaluación e intervención familiar centrados en el déficit hacia enfoques más positivos y capacitadores. Igualmente, se concluye que este proyecto puede representar un nuevo marco de intervención para la mejora de la calidad de vida de este colectivo que surge como fruto de un trabajo conjunto y coordinado que, mediante un enfoque multi-método y multi-informante, integra las aportaciones de los expertos, el conocimiento de los profesionales de salud mental las vivencias y percepciones de los propios adolescentes y sus familias.
