The article analyzes the requirements for various functional coatings. The integration of ultrasonic technologies into the processes for obtaining functional coatings in order to improve their quality has been viewed.
The article deals with the design of joint devices for a modular removable road pavement plate (slab) made of polymer materials for use in agriculture. The design of joint devices allows the use of road slabs in heavy traffic under adverse soil and hydrological conditions, with repeated assembly and disassembly. The proposed designs are simple to manufacture and ensure installation and removal of road slabs made of polymer materials within a short time.
An examination was made of the theoretical principles of the process of pressing glass-fabric laminates. The main factors influencing the process and the quality of the material obtained were determined. The influence of the properties of the binder on the production of a stable, dipped glass fabric was studied. On the basis of the experimental work carried out, the optimum conditions for the processes of dipping and pressing glass-fabric laminates were determined. The results of the work have been used on new equipment introduced at the "Elektroizolit" CJSC. A considerable saving of energy resources and solvents has been achieved.
The technical and economic efficiency actual problem of the use of building materials, products and structures is considered. Taking into account the purpose, a grouping of building materials was carried out according to eight nomenclature groups of structural, structural and heat-insulating, heat-insulating, acoustic, finishing, waterproofing and roofing materials, as well as the materials for special and general purposes. It is proposed to assess the technical and economic efficiency of building materials that form various nomenclature groups on the basis of two methodological approaches. The first approach should be applied to the building materials with one pronounced functional property, and the second - for the materials with several properties, the priority of which is not obvious. The calculations are carried out according to the criterion of the maximum units of useful effect due to the use of materials per unit of associated costs. In the second case, it is advisable to use the expert assessments to determine the significance of functional properties. Methodical recommendations for the technology of their implementation are provided.
