Latar Belakang: Scabies menempati urutan ketiga dari dua belas penyakit kulit yang paling sering terjadi di Indonesia. Perilaku individu dalam menjaga kebersihan pribadi berkaitan dengan upaya pencegahan transmisi scabieis karena di dalamnya terdapat upaya menjaga kebersihan pribadi berupa pemeliharaan kebersihan kulit, penggunaan dan cara merawat barang penggunaan pribadi. Instagram merupakan media sosial dengan paling sering digunakan (terbanyak ketiga di Indonesia), dengan jumlah 90,8 juta. Tujuan: Meninjau kemampuan penonton video singkat edukasi scabies melalui Instagram terhadap pengetahuan scabies dan kesediaan mereka menjaga kebersihan diri kedepannya serta membuktikan hipotesis bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara pengetahuan scabies terhadap kesediaan menjaga kebersihan diri di kemudian hari. Metode: Sebanyak 59 sampel mengikuti penelitian ini, dengan terlebih dahulu menonton video singkat berdurasi 36 detik tentang scabies pada akun Instagram @Changethecircle. Hasil: Nilai rerata empirik dari kedua kuesioner lebih tinggi dibandingkan rerata hipotesis menandakan pemirsa video singkat edukasi scabies pada Instagram memiliki pengetahuan mengenai scabies yang baik serta niat pelaksanaan dalam menjaga kebersihan diri yang tinggi. Berkebalikan dengan nilai rerata, standar deviasi empirik kedua kuesioner tersebut lebih rendah dibandingkan hipotesis sehingga dapat diartikan kemampuan menjawab pertanyaan seputar scabies dan niat pelaksanaan upaya menjaga kebersihan diri dari responden tidak jauh berbeda satu sama lain. Uji korelasi Spearman Rank menunjukkan hasil adanya hubungan positif antara pengetahuan scabies penonton video edukasi singkat terhadap kesediaan mereka untuk melaksanakan upaya menjaga kebersihan diri (Zhitung>Ztabel). Kesimpulan: Hipotesis penelitian ini diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan edukasi tentang scabies melalui video singkat Instagram mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan penontonnya serta mengajak mereka untuk menjaga kebersihan diri.
