Dieser beitrag befasst sich mit der Frage, wie Coaching dabei als personalentwicklungsinstrument unterstützen kann. im Coaching wird üblicherweise die rolle des Coachees im System thematisiert. Daran knüpfen organisationstheoretische ausführungen an und greifen auf Überlegungen zum Organisationslernen zurück. Schließlich werden ansatzpunkte für die praxis skizziert.

Mit dem Bau der Überführung des Mittellandkanals über die Elbe wurde bereits in den 30er Jahren dieses Jahrhunderts begonnen. Im Jahre 1942 wurden die Arbeiten kriegsbedingt wieder eingestellt. Der Neubau der Kanalbrücke als Kernstück des Projektes 17 Deutsche Einheit ist im Dezember 1997 vergeben worden. Der Beitrag beschreibt die Konstruktion des Stahlüberbaus, konstruktive Besonderheiten sowie den Stand der Bauarbeiten. Anfang 2003 wird das Wasserstraßenkreuz und in diesem Zuge die Kanalbrücke für den Verkehr freigegeben.
