A pandemia da Covid-19, em 2020, acelerou a utilização das TDIC no ensino, onde a modalidade de ensino remoto foi uma medida para dar continuidade às aulas. Assim, o objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar a perspectiva dos docentes da educação básica das Regiões Sul e Sudeste do estado do Pará sobre o processo de adaptação, permitindo ao docente expressar suas dificuldades e condições de trabalho no período pandêmico causado pelo COVID-19. Participaram da pesquisa dez docentes da educação básica das Regiões Sul e Sudeste do estado do Pará. Aplicou-se um questionário através do Google forms relacionados a formação acadêmica, habilidades e dificuldades na utilização de TDIC em meio à prática de ensino remoto. Observou-se que 50% dos participantes atuam como docentes no fundamental II (6º ao 9º ano), 30% atuam no fundamental I (1º ao 5º ano), 30% no Ensino Médio, 10% no Ensino Superior e 10% atuam na Pós-graduação. Destes, 50% dos relataram ter especialização, 40% possuíam mestrado e 10% possuíam apenas a graduação. A maioria dos professores da pesquisa informaram que não tiveram na formação inicial acesso à discussão sobre o uso das tecnologias na educação. Promover a formação continuada é a estratégia mais eficaz para mitigar as deficiências teóricas e práticas do uso de tecnologias no ensino.
