Mục tiêu: Nghiên cứu này nhằm đánh giá chất lượng cuộc sống ở người mang phục hình răng dựa trên bộ công cụ WHOQoL-Bref. Đối tượng và phương pháp nghiên cứu: Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang được thực hiện với 132 người mang phục hình răng tại tỉnh Nam Định năm 2019-2021. Chọn mẫu thuận tiện tại 03 vùng miền của tỉnh Nam Định. Thông tin được thu thập bằng bộ câu hỏi, thông qua hình thức hỏi trực tiếp. Kết quả: Nghiên cứu này cho thấy chất lượng cuộc sống trung bình ở người mang phục hình răng là 42,58 và hệ số Cronback's Alpha là 0,89. Kết luận: Bộ công cụ WHOQol-Bref phù hợp với nghiên cứu để đánh giá chất lượng cuộc sống của người mang phục hình răng tại tỉnh Nam Định.
Mục tiêu: Mô tả thực trạng kiến thức, thái độ, thực hành và phân tích mối liên quan về bệnh nấm miệng ở bệnh nhân phục hình răng. Đối tượng và phương pháp: Mô tả cắt ngang được thực hiện với 132 bệnh nhân mang phục hình răng tại tỉnh Nam Định năm 2019 - 2020. Chọn chủ đích theo 03 vùng miền, tại mỗi vùng miền, chọn ngẫu nhiên một phòng khám đại diện cho vùng miền, từ phòng khám chọn ngẫu nhiên danh sách bệnh nhân đang mang phục hình răng. Kết quả: 74 bệnh nhân nam (chiếm 56,1%), 58 bệnh nhân nữ (chiếm 43,9%), kiến thức về phòng chống bệnh nấm miệng chưa đạt là 82 bệnh nhân (chiếm 62,1%), thái độ về phòng chống bệnh nấm miệng chưa tích cực là 86 người (chiếm 65,1%), thực hành về phòng chống bệnh nấm miệng chưa đạt là 78 người (chiếm 59,1%). Phân tích mối liên quan cho thấy kiến thức, thái độ và điểm của kiến thức và thái độ có liên quan chặt chẽ với thực hành về phòng chống bệnh nấm miệng. Kết luận: Kiến thức, thái độ và thực hành về phòng chống bệnh nấm miệng ở bệnh nhân mang phục hình răng còn hạn chế nên cần đưa chương trình giáo dục truyền thông về sức khỏe răng miệng, phòng chống bệnh nấm miệng ở bệnh nhân mang phục hình răng và hướng dẫn vệ sinh răng miệng và hàm giả cũng như khám sức khỏe răng miệng định kỳ.
