Für die Darstellung von reinem K5[Mn(CN)6] und Na5[Mn(CN)6] wird eine im Vergleich zu den bisherigen Methoden vereinfachte Arbitsweise gegeben.
Die Darstellung von bläulich grünem Kaliumhexacyanorhenat(I) mit einem mindestens 90proz. Gehalt an Re+1 wird beschrieben und auf Grund quantitativer Untersuchungen sowie verschiedener Eigenschaften der Substanz die Formel K5[Re(CN)6] · 3H2O vorgeschlagen.
Das erhaltene Kaliumcyanorhenat(I) verhielt sich – wahrscheinlich infolge geringer Verunreinigungen – schwach paramagnetisch.
Leitfähigkeitsmessungen lieferten die molare Leitfähigkeit bei 25° C und unendlicher Verdünnung, aud DEBYE‐SCHERRER‐Aufnahmen wurden Kristallklasse und Gitterkonstante der neuen Verbindung ermittelt.
Auf Grund thermodynamischer Berechnungen wird gezeigt, daß die im schwach sauren Bereich freiwillig verlaufende Zementationsreaktion von Kupfer mit Nickel auch im ammoniakalischen Gebiet trotz Vorliegens von Komplexen möglich ist. Es werden 2 Arbeitsvorschriften zur Gewinnung von in ammoniakalischem Milieu aktiven Nickelpulvern mitgeteilt. (Stadtgasreduktion von technischem NiCO3 und Wasserstoffdruck‐reduktion von ammoniakalischen Nickellösungen im Autoklaven.) Die Kapazität solcher aktiver Nickelpulver liegt bei etwa 94%.
Schließlich wird eine Apparatur beschrieben, die gestattet, das übliche chargenweise Zementationsverfahren in Bottichen durch ein kontinuierliches Durchflußverfahren zu ersetzen. Es gelingt, eine mit Kupfer verunreinigte ammoniakalische Nickellauge bis auf einen Restgehalt von 10−5 M Cu bzw. 0,7 mg Cu/l zu entkupfern.
