Objetivo: Analisar como a produção científica aborda a relação entre a gestação na adolescência com o desfecho da prematuridade. Métodos: Revisão integrativa nas bases de dados Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) e Scientific Eletronic Library Online com os descritores Adolescência AND Prematuridade. Trata-se de uma pesquisa vinculada ao Núcleo Interdisciplinar de Estudos de Vulnerabilidade e Saúde da Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana, na Bahia. A coleta de dados ocorreu entre março e abril de 2020, foram selecionados 2.838 artigos inicialmente e após os critérios de inclusão totalizaram 7 artigos. Resultados: Os artigos revisados apresentaram divergências na abordagem da gravidez precoce com a incidência de prematuridade, evidenciando a influência do pré-natal e do nível de escolaridade no desfecho desse fenômeno. Considerações finais: Os riscos obstétricos e fetais só serão diminuídos quando houver uma rede de apoio direcionada às adolescentes, que foquem na atenção reprodutiva, pré-natal e suporte psicológico e social.
Objetivo: Compreender a vivência do distanciamento social por adolescentes durante a pandemia da COVID-19. Métodos: Trata-se de estudo qualitativo, descritivo e exploratório, realizado em quatro escolas do município de Feira de Santana- Bahia, com adolescentes de 12 a 17 anos de idade. Como técnica de coleta de dados, foi utilizada a entrevista com um roteiro previamente estabelecido. Para a análise de dados foi utilizada a técnica de Análise do Conteúdo proposta por Bardin. O estudo foi aprovado por Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa. Resultados: O início da pandemia para os adolescentes foi um período complicado pela necessidade de isolamento social e mudanças no cotidiano. Destaca-se os impactos negativos do excesso da tecnologia e as possíveis influências na saúde mental. A alteração do ensino presencial para o modelo remoto emergencial afetou a socialização que antes era possibilitada pelo contato frequente entre aluno e professor dentro da escola; além do sinal ruim de internet e ausência de local exclusivo para estudos. Nessa conjuntura, é necessário um olhar especial às demandas psicológicas dos adolescentes durante o isolamento social. Considerações finais: O estudo permitiu a compreensão da vivência do distanciamento social por adolescentes e sinaliza-se a importância do acolhimento desse público.
Descrever as características clínicas, laboratoriais e radiológicas de crianças com COVID-19. Materiais e Métodos: Estudo de revisão integrativa de literatura, realizado nas plataformas PubCovid-19, utilizando as seguintes áreas temáticas: "CARACTERIZAÇÃO CLÍNICA E CRIANÇAS"; e Scientific Electronic Library Online, utilizando os descritores "CRIANÇAS" AND "COVID-19". A busca foi realizada em junho de 2020, encontrando inicialmente 61 artigos científicos, ao utilizar os critérios de inclusão e exclusão restaram 35 estudos. Após a leitura dos títulos e resumos, foram excluídas 28 publicações por não abordarem a temática de estudo, totalizando 07 produções para leitura na íntegra. Resultados: A partir da exploração do material selecionado, foram elaboradas três categorias, a saber: Características clínicas; Características laboratoriais; Características radiológicas. Discussão: As características da COVID-19 em crianças dizem respeito à sintomatologia assintomática ou leve. Com relação aos exames laboratoriais, na maioria dos casos, os pacientes pediátricos não apresentam linfopenia, tendo aumento da lactato desidrogenase, aspartato aminotransferase, alanina aminotransferase e procalcitonina. Já ao se falar no exame radiológico, percebeu-se a presença de opacidade em vidro fosco e consolidação focal. Conclusões: Apesar da baixa incidência de crianças com diagnóstico confirmado da COVID-19, urge que os profissionais de saúde tenham um conhecimento sobre as características dessa doença nos pacientes pediátricos, de modo a prestar uma assistência de qualidade no âmbito hospitalar.
