ResumenPalabras claves La espectroscopia de infrarrojo ha sido importante para el análisis de las propiedades de los suelos desde hace aproximadamente 3 décadas mediante el desarrollo de distintas aplicaciones analíticas en los rangos del infrarrojo cercano (NIR) e infrarrojo medio (MIR) como el empleo de las técnicas de reflectancia difusa (DR), reflectancia difusa con transformada de Fourier (DRIFT), reflectancia total atenuada (ATR) y el uso de métodos de análisis quimiométricos permitiendo ampliar el conocimiento de las complejas interacciones presentes en los suelos, así como aumentar la rapidez de los análisis de diferentes propiedades.
