The aim of this study was to find out the pre-service science teachers' views about the use of concept maps in science and technology lessons. A questionnaire which consisted of the open ended questions was applied to 24 pre-service science teachers for determining their views related to concept mapping. Content analysis was used for the analysis of data gathered from the study. According to the results, science and technology pre-service teachers had generally highly positive views about the use of concept maps in science and technology education. Besides, pre-service teachers expressed that concept mapping in science and technology education, as a suitable technique for constructivist approach, would be useful for students and they wanted to use concept maps in their future professional life.
