The ongoing pandemic conditions until now, causing the learning process to be done online. Online learning seems boring because the online learning methods and media that are applied are less creative and varied. Teachers' incompetence in using technology is one of the causes of boring learning, so schools and teachers are trying to find the right method or media to make learning more interesting. The purpose of this study is to describe the TikTokapplication as music learning media from SMAN 1 Muara Enim, South of Sumatra. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative research method. This research was conducted in Perumahan Bumi Eraska Blok E7 no 12. The researcher got the data from observation of the learning outcomes of students and teacher of SMAN 1 Muara Enim South Sumatra, through Youtube and the TikTokapplication. The time of this research was conducted from March to June. Data collected were the result of interviews, literature, observation, and documentation. The result of this research indicates that the TikTokapplication can be used as a music learning medium. In utilizing the TikTokapplication there must be appropriate steps and methods to achieve learning objectives. there are positive effects in the use of the TikTokapplication at SMAN 1 Muara Enim, namely can make students get more confidence in the music subject, familiarizing students with the use of technology 4.0 especially in the music subject, increasing student interaction during distance learning, making it easier for teachers and students with its features to make music learning videos, make students more interactive, and as a promotional tool for the school. Extracurricular arts programs are an integral part of instilling character qualities in students. This research aimed to map out the constraints to extracurricular arts in elementary schools in Indonesia. To achieve the goal, this research looks at government initiatives aimed at enhancing the standard of arts extracurricular activities in elementary schools across the Country, which were carried out from 2013 to 2019. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a participatory observation approach. They were collecting data using participatory methods, observation, and guided discussion. This study’s results indicate that schools’ various obstacles in implementing extracurricular programs, ranging from the availability of competent teachers in the arts, funding constraints for trainers, and the existence of regional autonomy. This constraint mapping is very useful for designing policies and extracurricular programs that are appropriate for schools.
GPSDI merupakan singkatan dari Gereja Pantekosta Serikat di Indonesia. GPSDI Sukorejo merupakan salah satu gereja yang ada di Jawa Tengah dan letaknya berada di desa. Gereja tersebut merupakan gereja yang masih berkembang, sehingga masih memerlukan perhatian khusus untuk memajukan gereja tersebut. Gereja tersebut memiliki jumlah jemaat yang terdiri atas sepuluh kepala keluarga. Terdapat kendala yang dimiliki oleh gereja tersebut dimana minat remaja dalam pelayanan musik masih kurang. Kurangnya minat tersebut karena tidak adanya kemampuan dalam bermain musik yang dimiliki remaja di gereja tersebut. Metode Pelaksanaan yang dilakukan dalam program pengabdian kepada masyarakat pada dasarnya dilakukan melalui program pelatihan musik yang diperuntukan bagi remaja di GPSDI Sukorejo, Kecamatan Tegowanu, Kabupaten Grobogan, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan selama enam bulan dengan empat kali jumlah pertemuan dengan menyesuaikan situasi pandemi covid 19 yang sedang terjadi. Pelatihan musik yang dilakukan melibatkan remaja yang ada di GPSDI Sukorejo untuk dilatih bermain alat musik dan bernyanyi. Tim pengabdian terjun langsung dan berinteraksi dengan mitra dalam kegiatan pelatihan yang diadakan. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan terbukti dapat meningkatkan minat remaja dan membekali keterampilan dalam bermain musik.
The purpose of this research is to produce a collection of songs about character education for elementary school students, which contains discipline, mutual cooperation, honesty, responsibility, tolerance, cooperation, parental love, and love for the homeland. This research is a design and development research. Researchers developed a model that would produce model songs about character education for elementary school students. The steps of this research include identifying the need for pieces with the theme of discipline, cooperation, honesty, responsibility, tolerance, parental love, and love for the homeland used in learning in schools. Then proceed with prototypes of model songs with the theme of discipline, mutual cooperation, honesty, responsibility, tolerance, parental love, and love for the homeland. The end study is an expert assessment of the feasibility of the model songs that have been produced. This collection of model songs about character education is expected to be a teacher's handbook/reference in the learning process of arts and culture as well as other subjects with indicators of changing student attitudes and behavior. At the same time, it is an effort to improve the nation's character from an early age during the increasing number of juvenile delinquency cases. Result of the research that the song can improve the nation's character from an early age during the increasing number of juvenile delinquency cases.
This community service is carried out by providing training to educators, especially elementary school teachers in West Java and surrounding areas.The training was carried out on the basis of input and information from several educators in West Java and its surroundings, that they had difficulties when they had to teach Cultural Arts or Thematic subjects in which there were Cultural Arts. This happens because educators at the elementary school education unit level are classroom teachers who must master and teach not only one field of study. Meanwhile, arts and culture subjects or thematic (cultural arts) require teachers to have skills in the arts. Therefore, this training program was held to equip the accompaniment guitar playing skills and manage practicum for educators, especially elementary school teachers in West Java and its surroundings. The training carried out during this pandemic was carried out online due to the Government's appeal for social distancing and physical distancing. The training was carried out by utilizing the YouTube and WhatsApp group media platforms. The training participants referred to as partners are educators in the West Java region and its surroundings, especially elementary school teachers who on average do not have competence in the arts (music).
