This research is entitled Intercultural communication in married couples from different countries. This research uses Face Negotiation Theory and Anxiety/Uncertainty management theory. This research method is qualitative with a phenomenological descriptive approach, data collection techniques are carried out by in-depth interviews and direct observation. The purpose of this study was to determine intercultural communication in married couples from different countries . The findings in this study show that intercultural communication in married couples from different countries is running as it is. and previously also made a mutual agreement to determine the language, religion, culture that will be used by the family. The obstacles faced are overcome by slow communication, and a shared commitment to become a harmonious family, as well as understanding each other's culture and language as a consequence of marriage from different countries..
