Enthusiasm support a vital role in reading comprehension achievement of upper level readers, Reading interest is vital that one may encourage and maintain their interest of reading. Intralingual translation is defined as “rewording” and as an interpretation of verbal signs by means of other signs of the same language. This research is a quantitative research which has the purpose to find out whether or not there was significant correlation among students’ reading interest, reading comprehension, and their intralingual translation achievement. Furthermore, the population of the research is the second semester students of STIA SATYA NEGARA Palembang consisting of 120 students, from the population, 42 students were represented as the sample which was taken through simple random sampling technique. The instruments used were questionnaire for reading interest, multiple choice test for reading comprehension, and written test for intralingual translation. After having the result, then the data were analyzed by using multiple correlation in SPSS 20 Program for Windows. From the result of the data analysis shows that Ryx1x2 = 0.655 at the significance level of 0.05, and for the criteria of significant test is gotten Fcount (37.037) > Ftable (4.08). So, the result of hypothesis test shows that there is significant correlation among students’ reading interest, reading comprehension, and their intralingual translation achievement. It can be concluded that if students have high interest in reading, so they have good ability in comprehending text.
Writing English text is basic competence that students must be common to write because writing plays an important role to enable the students to describe their ideas in logical and in a communicative way. The objectives of this research were to find out whether or not there was a significant correlation between learning motivation together with writing anxiety and writing achievement. The method used was descriptive method and the design was in the form of correlational research. By using total sample, 97 students of SMA ETHIKA Palembang were chosen as the sample of this research. Two questioners and writing test were administered to collect the data. The research results show that (a) there was a positive significant correlation between learning motivation and writing achievement (r=0.845), (b) there was no significant correlation between writing anxiety and writing achievement (r=-0.053), (c) the multiple correlation analysis of all independent variables showed a positive and significant correlation (r= 0.845). Regression analysis showed that learning motivation influenced or contributed partially 84.5% to writing achievement and writing anxiety partially contributed 5,3%, the combination of learning motivation together with writing anxiety contributed 71.5% to writing achievement.
In order to increase the graduate competency, SMA N 3 Bungo has been consistent to make the improvement during the learning process. Various attempts were made as sustainable development for teachers, administrators, and all elements of the school. As a professional educator, teachers are managed to get a competence development. To increase the ability of teachers in education, teachers are developed to doing research in learning process. The main purpose of this article is a reference to enhance the capabilities of teachers in conducting action research, so the methods of this study can be applied in SMA N 3 Bungo. This article discusses the various alternative teaching methods and strategies for classroom action research that can be applied by teachers.
This study is expected to discover: (1) There is a relationship between of knowledge inspiration and language proficiency; (2) There is a relationship between language proficiency and lesson ability and (3) There is a relationship between knowledge inspiration, language proficiency and lesson ability. The study is directed by January – April 2019 in the second semester understudies, scholastic year 2018-2019. The information of the exploration is gathered utilizing survey to gather the information of understudies' knowledge inspiration and experiment to gather the information of language proficiency and lesson ability. The data are then being explored utilizing basic connection and various straight relapse. The study discoveries show that (1) There is a positive relationship in the midst of knowledge inspiration and language proficiency (ry1 = 0.745> r table = 0.205); (2) There is critical positive relationship between language proficiency and lesson ability (0.720 > 0.205; (3) There is a positive relationship between knowledge inspiration, language proficiency and lesson ability (F perception 91.941 > F table 3.11).
The aims of the research was to know the increase of physics subject by using cooperative learning in SMA N 3 Bungo. As ungulan school SMA N 3 Bungo has always been consistent in doing increase the learning process in order to increase the competencies of graduates. Various attempts were made as well for the ongoing development of teachers , administrators and all elements of the school .To increase of physics subject is an acceptable way by using cooperative learning. Cooperative learning is a learning model for give a chance for students to make interactions to others. In addition cooperative learning is the best way to apply because every students has give (team reward), (individual aecountability) (equal opportunities for success) that can give motivation for student to increase ability in physics subject and make student interesting of this subject to get the great result in physics learning. As long as, students in SMA N 3 the best students in Physics always has dominate in Physics learning, without give a chance for another students, so that cooperative learning is best choice for Physics study.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
