By using CDA as a tool in the classroom, this study visually and verbally analyses the children's growth. This is based on the understanding that learning is not content-oriented, but rather about the learning process of knowledge gained. Students who can think well will be successful in life. Therefore, this study aims to determine the app implementing critical discourse analysis on early children's development in the classroom. The method used is a qualitative approach with a literature review using sources from the internet, books, and related research outputs. Based on the study's findings, the critical thinking structure is explicit to make clear what is to be learned in order to facilitate writing skills, systematic to provide a consistent framework for focusing on both language and context, needs-based to ensure that course objectives and content are derived from students' needs, supportive to give teachers a central role in scaffolding students' learning and creativity, and empowering to give access to the pattern and possibilities.
Pengaruh teknologi digital terhadap budaya membaca saat ini sangatlah besar. Terlebih, ketika dunia dilanda pandemi Covid 19, termasuk Kota Padang, Sumbar. Banyak bidang yang terpengaruh terutama bidang pendidikan. Pendidikan di Indonesia khususnya Kota Padang menerapkan sistem sekolah daring dan tatap muka terbatas. Hal ini mengakibatkan siswa-siswa banyak belajar di rumah dari pada di sekolah. Proses belajar menagajar banyak dilakukan secara online. Dampak dari situasi ini banyak siswa yang memanfaatkan untuk menggunakan media belajar handphone dan laptop untuk bermain game. Apalagi kegiatan ini tidak diawasi oleh orang tua, siswa pun dengan bebas bisa mengakses handphone/laptop. Selama masa pandemi ini tidak dipungkiri juga bahwa minat belajar siswa terutama dalam hal membaca menurun drastis. Oleh sebab itulah, penulis melakukan pelatihan ini agar budaya membaca siswa kembali meningkat dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital seperti handphone/laptop ini. Output yang dihasilkan adalah budaya membaca siswa dapat meningkat dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital sehar-hari yang mereka gunakan seperti handphone/laptop. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil pelatihan terhadap siswa ini ditemukan bahwa siswa sangat senang dengan membaca karena telah mengetahui aplikasi atau situs yang ada di internet yang bisa mereka akses dengan mudah yang menyuguhkan bahan bacaan yang menari dan edukatif.
This study aims to develop a valid and relevant teaching materials with Indonesian language course material. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach. The research subjects are lecturers and students. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, literature study, documentation, interviews, and assessment questionnaires. The stages in this research start from assessing potential and problems, collecting data, making product designs, validating product designs, revising products, and testing products. As a result, the textbooks developed were to support lectures and become a handbook for lecturers and students for academic purposes. The results and conclusions in this study, Indonesian language textbooks are good for college students to use. This teaching materials can also be used as a guide for lecturers in carrying out teaching and learning activities in universities.
This research studies about discourse usedby teachers in Ganesha Operation (GO) Sumbar in their facebook’s status about welcoming new year of 2014. It is interesting to be analyzed because every discoursehas one function. Moreover, the fact found in field was one discourse has more than one function.Methods and techniques used there are three. (1) Methods and techniques of data collection. The method used is the methods and techniques used refer to is the techniquesee, technical note, and interview techniques. (2) Methods and techniques of data analysis. The method used is the method match (match referential, translational, orthographic, and pragmatic. The basic technique used is the technique Segment Element Determinants (PUP) and subsequent techniques are Contacts Appeal of discernment (HBM). (3) Techniques and methods of presentation of the results of data analysis used, namely formal and informal methods.This study also resulted in a finding of speech acts, especially in terms of the function of speech. Apparently, the speech was not only contains the speech function, but more than one function of speech. Examples of speech it is data (1) not only contains the function to inform, but also insinuated, the data (2) not only inform, but also to express satisfaction, the data (3) not only inform but also revealeda complaint, the data (4) not only inform, but also in the form of a hope, and data (5) not only inform, but also banned.
