SYNOPSIS
Patients with anxiety and depression frequently complain of headache chronically. Two cases of patients with hyper‐metabolic disorders presenting as headache with anxiety and depression are presented. One patient had a pheochromocytoma and one patient had hyperthyroidism. In addition to specific neurologic and psychiatric disorders, hypermetabolic disorders should be considered in the differential diagnosis of chronic cephalgia with anxiety and depression.
