RESUMOEste trabalho objetiva avaliar o impacto relativo do projeto para produção da alvenaria de vedação na redução do total de resíduos gerados em canteiro de obras. Isto se deu a partir de levantamento bibliográfico a respeito do tema em questão, seguido da análise da relação do projeto de alvenaria com a geração dos Resíduos de Construção Civil (RCC), nas etapas de estrutura e acabamento, em 8 (oito) obras localizadas na cidade de Recife/ PE. O total de resíduo gerado pelas quatro obras da construtora 1, caracterizadas por apresentarem projeto de alvenaria, foi 1.364 toneladas, já as quatro obras da construtora 2 totalizaram 4.842 toneladas, implicando num custo de destinação de R$ 47.740 e R$ 169.470, respectivamente. Conclui-se que o projeto para produção de alvenaria é uma ferramenta capaz de contribuir na redução do RCC gerado numa obra, quando utilizado de forma eficiente, devido às vantagens técnicas, econômicas e ambientais apresentadas. Este artigo buscou levantar na literatura nacional os motivos pelos quais a relação entre as operadoras de planos de saúde e os cirurgiões-dentistas é conflituosa, traçando um histórico do mercado brasileiro na área, bem como o perfil do profissional deste segmento, destacando as implicações observadas quanto à autonomia profissional, remuneração e satisfação com o trabalho, a fim de fomentar uma reflexão crítica na categoria quanto às relações de trabalho no âmbito da assistência odontológica suplementar. A análise realizada evidenciou que o sistema de saúde suplementar se desenvolveu por mais de trinta anos sem interferência governamental, culminando em um crescimento alarmante, desordenado e desregulado, influenciado pelo excesso de oferta de dentistas e redução de pacientes que pagam por serviços privados. Dessa forma, grande parcela dos profissionais que têm se associado a planos de saúde na expectativa de expansão dos seus serviços são submetidos às demandas das operadoras que limitam seu trabalho àquele menos oneroso, interferem no plano de tratamento e utilizam tabelas de preços desatualizadas para o pagamento de procedimentos clínicos, levando a uma percepção negativa e descontentamento em relação ao desempenho das operadoras. Concluiu-se que de fato a relação é conflituosa, atingindo o profissional em diversas esferas, não apenas econômicas como pessoais, e está associada à expansão do sistema suplementar. Sendo assim, a prática odontológica é afetada na sua essência, sem que medidas de controle e supervisão, tão necessárias, sejam implementadas para corrigir assimetrias nas relações corporativas e evitar condições precárias da profissão.
A atividade apícola vem crescendo em todas as regiões do Brasil, em especial no nordeste. Apesar da diversidade de produtos apícolas, o mel é o principal produto explorado pelos apicultores e consumidores. A avaliação do perfil do consumidor é importante para melhorar o entendimento às exigências de mercado e para pequenos produtores rurais. Deste modo, este diagnóstico objetivou-se identificar o perfil socioeconômico e fatores que influênciam os consumidores de mel de abelhas Apis melliferas. Para isso, foram aplicados 392 questionários, sendo distribuídos de forma direta e aleatória onde foram explicados os objetivos do estudo. Os resultados obtidos evidenciaram que a maioria dos entrevistados consomem mel, em relação a faixa etária, grau de instrução e renda familiar. Com relação à associação do consumo com tratamento à enfermidades, foi maior em relação à faixa etária e grau de instrução, e menor em relação à renda familiar. A frequência de consumo de mel está associado ao local de aquisição e menos à renda familiar, e o consumidor prefere adquirir os produtos em feiras, direto de produtores ou emmercados.
