A Construção Civil tem um papel de grande importância e relevância no âmbito sustentável, em dimensão econômica e social. Todavia, os impactos ambientais causados ao meio ambiente pelo consumo de recursos naturais e o descarte indevido de resíduos sólidos faz com que mais de 50% desses resíduos sejam provenientes da construção. Este estudo trata-se de uma Revisão de Literatura, que tem objetivo reunir quais métodos e tecnologias podem ser aplicados para se alcançar a sustentabilidade na fase de projeto, no canteiro de obras e no descarte dos resíduos oriundos de construção civil. Foi analisado, por meio das literaturas e artigos dispostos, as técnicas disponíveis para se alcançar a sustentabilidade na Construção Civil no Brasil, em um período de 1994 a 2022, como forma de conscientização. Para isso foi utilizado como exemplo estudos feitos a campo quanto ao descarte indevido no meio ambiente, exemplos de processos sustentáveis nas construções como o reaproveitamento de recursos naturais, estruturação de projetos visando redução de resíduos sólidos, e a colaboração das certificações ambientais para a construção civil, LEED e AQUA, sendo elas as mais usadas. As medidas identificadas no presente trabalho para mitigar os danos ambientais causados pela Indústria da Construção civil foram projetos de paginação, visando a quantificação de resíduos oriundos da construção, reutilização de água pluviais e usinas destinadas a reciclagem de resíduos provenientes da construção civil para reaproveitamento.
