Traction convertor plays a main role to ensure the power of High-Speed EMUs. The temperature rising of the convertor directly impacts the reliability of the operation of EMUs and the life time of the convertor. This article analyses the power loss of the convertor, establishes the temperature rising model under the conditions of the cooling system, and designs the simulation software for temperature rising by taking the example of CRH3 High-Speed EMUs. This software monitors the temperature of the main parts of the traction convertor in the process of the EMUs operation, which provides the scientific basis for power configuration and the features of the temperature rising.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
