Kualitas Manusia sangat penting untuk diperhatikan oleh pemerintah, untuk meningkatkan pembangunan ekonomi. Adapun kualitas sumbaer daya manusia dapat dilihat melalui beberapa indikator diantaranya pendidikan dan kesehatan. Pendidikan merupakan faktor utama dalam membangun daerah bahkan bangsa, sehingga tinggi rendahnya indeks pendidikan memberikan salah satu indikator dalam kemajuan suatu daerah. Sedangkan, kesehatan merupakan modal awal dan paling penting bagi manusia untuk melaksanakan kehidupan sosial ekonomi. Pendidikan dan kesehatan menjadi salah satu kunci untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia dimasa pendemi Covid-19 sekarang ini, karena tanpa pendidikan dan kesehatan manusia tidak akan bisa untuk tumbuh dan berkembang untuk meningkatkan perekonomian diri, keluarga maupun wilayahnya. Sehingga, Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu ingin mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh tingkat pendidikan dan kesehatan terhadap kualitas sumber daya manusia dan dapat menjadi roda penggerak di dalam proses pembangunan manusia yang lebih baik lagi dengan kata lain sumber daya manusia yang lebih berkualitas khusunya Kalimantan Barat. Metode yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan elucidation dengan menggunakan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat pendidikan dan kesehatan menjadi penggerak indeks pembangunan manusia ini bersifat benar bahwasanya jika aspek pendidikan dan kesehatan suatu daerah sudah maksimal dirasa indeks pembangunan manusia juga dirasa akan maksimal. Dengan demikian dampak penelitian ini adalah proses pembangunan aspek pendidikan dan kesehatan yang di laksanakan secara maksimal akan mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal pula untuk indeks pembangunan manusia yang ada di Kalimantan Barat.
