ELEKTROOSADZANIE CYRKONU Z ROZTWORU DMSOInvestigations of voltammetry zirconium deposition from DMSO solution on different substrates were taken. It was found that this is multi-electron process proceeding in a few stages. Moreover, zirconium layers were obtained on titanium, copper stainless steel and nickel. Obtained deposit was in form of white powder, which immediately was oxidized to ZrO 2 in the presence of air. Keywords: zirconium; DMSO; electrodeposition; voltammetry W pracy przedstawiono badania woltamperometryczne procesu elektroosadzania cyrkonu z roztworu DMSO na różnych podłożach.
This study presents results of vacuum diffusion brazing of Grade 2 titanium with 6082 (AlMg1Si0.6Cu0.3) aluminium alloy using B-Ag72Cu-780 (Ag72Cu28) grade silver brazing metal as an interlayer. Brazed joints underwent shear tests, light-microscopybased metallographic examinations and structural examinations using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS). The highest quality and shear strength of 20 MPa was characteristic of joints brazed at 530°C with a 30-minute hold. The structural examinations revealed that in diffusion zone near the boundary with titanium the braze contained solid solutions based on hard and brittle Ti-Al type intermetallic phases determining the strength of the joints.

Stre zczenieW artykule przedstawiono podstawowe problemy związane z lutowaniem tytanu w osłonie topnikowej. Podano mechanizm zykochemicznego oddziaływania topników na powierzchni tytanu podczas procesu lutowania. Zamieszczono wyniki badań recepturowo-technologicznych, realizowanych w Instytucie Spawalnictwa w Gliwicach, nad specjalistycznym topnikiem do płomieniowego lutowania twardego. Omówiono właściwości lutownicze topnika oraz przedstawiono badania metalogra czne połączeń wykonanych z jego użyciem.
Braze weldIng TIg of TITanIum and alumInIum alloy Type al -mgThe article presents the course and the results of technological tests related to TIG-based arc braze welding of titanium and AW-5754 (AlMg3) aluminium alloy. The tests involved the use of an aluminium filler metal (Al99.5) and two filler metals based on Al-Si alloys (AlSi5 and AlSi12). Braze welded joints underwent tensile tests, metallographic examinations using a light microscope as well as structural examinations involving the use of a scanning electron microscope and an X-ray energy dispersive spectrometer (eDS). The highest strength and quality of welds was obtained when the Al99.5 filler metal was used in a braze welding process. The tests enabled the development of the most convenient braze welding conditions and parameters.

This article explores the possibilities of using non-destructive ultrasonic techniques to analyze the quality of lapped braze-welded joints. The tests were performed for 4 material groups (DC03+ZE steel and X5CrNi18-19 steel, aluminum alloys AW-5754 and AW-6061, titanium Grade 2 and copper Cu-ETP). As part of the work, additional materials and joint processes and its parameters were selected (TIG, MIG, laser). The quality of joints was monitored using scanning acoustic microscopy. Based on the A-scan andC-scan images, potential joints imperfections were determined. The possibilities of using advanced ultrasonic techniques to analyze the quality of braze joints was assessed.
