The theory of business and management is changing rapidly, and changes are expected to continue. Emerging concepts and paradigms are being introduced and applied to organizational life. Knowledge management (KM) is not new but
Croatian tongue-twisters are defined by the lack of euphony, and the abundance of sound patterns that lead to speech errors. The major feature that contributes to this anti-euphonious patterning is the significant presence of consonant clusters in the syllable onset. This research combines a phonostylistic approach, computational analysis, and statistical methods in order to detect and differentiate sound patterning and its effect on euphony in tongue-twisters. The paper presents the results from research that focuses on the computational analysis of these features and their comparison with other similar folklore genres (counting-out rhymes, lyric and epic poetry, proverbs, and narratives).
Opisom najstarijih poznatih zapisa usmenoretoriËkih aeanrova pokuπavaju se propitati naËini interferencije usmenoretoriËkih aeanrova sa aeanrovima hrvatske pisane knjiaeevnosti od srednjega vijeka do narodnoga preporoda. RetoriËki aeanrovi usmene knjiaeevnosti jesu oni koji svojom estetikom ostvaruju konkretan komunikacijski uËinak naglaπavajuÊi komponentu uvjeravanja, jeziËnu i govornu ludiËnost.
The paper offers an overview of critical reflections on charms in Croatian folkloristics and related disciplines (literary theory and history, paleoslavistics). By highlighting the most important steps in the institutionalization of folklore research in Croatia we are showing the status of verbal charm both in the process of field research and the critical reflection. The most important contribution of Croatian scholars is classification of verbal charm as an oral rhetorical genre, which offered the possibility for different methodological approaches to the study of charms.
This paper aims to detect the possibilities of automatic text transcription for the purpose of preparing a corpus for further natural language processing analysis. The corpus contains various Croatian folklore genres. The transcription goal is to have one character represent one phoneme and remove spaces between accentuated and non-accentuated words. This knowledge independent system is trained using supervised learning methods and applied to the rest of the corpus using classifiers such as the naïve Bayes, k-nearest neighbour, support vector machine and others. The results are compared to a human-annotated sample to determine accuracy.
