O presente trabalho objetivou discutir a relação da liberdade de expressão e seus limites no discurso de ódio. A análise do tema baseia-se no estudo da previsão constitucional acerca da liberdade de expressão nos ordenamentos jurídicos americano e europeu, e no estudo da jurisprudência atual brasileira, passando-se então à análise dos princípios da ponderação e proporcionalidade como meios do qual se é possível solucionar conflitos de normas fundamentais caso a caso. Por fim, fez-se o estudo de um caso concreto: RHC 146.303/RJ, caso do pastor Tupirani da Hora Lores, no qual o Supremo Tribunal Federal decidiu por conferir à liberdade de expressão um caráter não absoluto.
“Soziale Marktwirtschaft” A economia social de mercado é considerada a postura econômica da Democracia Cristã, uma corrente política consolidada após a Segunda Guerra Mundial, apesar de seu desenvolvimento ter origens já no fim do século XIX. O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar os princípios da Economia Social de Mercado, especificamente a que surgiu na Alemanha, com Alfred Müller-Armack e Ludwig Erhard como seus primeiros grandes representantes. Estes princípios estão alicerçados na Democracia Cristã, e esta por sua vez, na Doutrina Social da Igreja e no Luteranismo, que teve na figura de Konrad Adenauer, seu primeiro grande nome. O artigo pretende analisar a teologia que influenciou tal ideia política e postura econômica, que nasceu no mesmo contexto, e através de alguns dos criadores do conceito moderno de direitos humanos.

O presente artigo tem por objetivo apresentar o conceito de produtividade no atual estágio do sistema capitalista, e como ao longo das décadas a produtividade se tornou o “mais alto ideal” a ser alcançado pelo sistema capitalista, sendo comparada até mesmo a um “ídolo”. Pretendemos demonstrar como o arcabouço teológico luterano oferece subsídios para uma renovada crítica da produtividade enquanto princípio norteador da sociedade. Para isso, o trabalho percorre três momentos: (i) primeiro, o exame de como a noção moderna de produtividade assumiu crescente protagonismo nas diretrizes políticas e econômicas das nações; (ii) segundo, a indicação de três mazelas sociais decorrentes da ênfase exagerada na produtividade econômica; (iii) terceiro, a apresentação de subsídios críticos à ideia de produtividade como um fim em si mesmo a partir da tradição teológica luterana.
