The SAPO-56 molecular sieve material was prepared under hydrothermal conditions at 200 °C with different hydrothermal times using precursors including Al(OH)3, LUDOX AS-30, H3PO4, and TMHD (N,N,N′,N′-tetramethyl-hexane-1,6-diamine) as an organic structure-directing agent. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopes, Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, NH3 temperature - programmed desorption, N2 adsorption-desorption, and UV-Vis Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy methods. Electron paramagnetic resonance technique was applied to determine isolated Cu2+ ions in the framework. Although materials shared the same AFX framework structure, they owned different physicochemical properties, especially in terms of crystal size, surface area, and acidity. Next, the catalytic activity of removal NOx of Cu/SAPO-56 and Cu/ZSM-5 using commercial ZSM-5 as support with the loading of 3 wt%Cu synthesized by aqueous ion-exchange method was assessed in the selective catalytic reduction with NH3.
Mathematical competency can be referred to one of the most essential competencies in the context of the exponential development of the knowledge-based economy and globalization, especially when people make financial decisions based on their mathematical literacy. Numeracy is considered one of the critical skills of the people. To develop and evaluate numeracy, the national curricula of many countries across the world, such as Australia, Germany, Singapore, or Programme for International Student Assessment - PISA have selected Consumer and financial context as teaching and assessing content. In Vietnam, in the general education curriculum mandated by the Ministry of Education and Training in December 2018, numeracy, which originated and developed substantially in Mathematics, is one of the seven general capabilities. In this paper, we present a literature review of numeracy and several pedagogical recommendations to develop junior high school students' numeracy through the context of consumer and financial literacy.
In December of 2018, the Ministry of Education and Training mandated the new general education curriculum, which endorsed the reformation of curriculum from knowledge - skills based standards to developing learner’s competencies. General Mathematical Education Curriculum 2018 pointed out the significance of rising experiential activities and real-life context in learning progression, that conduct to complete developing learner’s competencies objectives. According to Australian Curriculum and The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) researches, we found out that financial education, which promotes financial literacy for citizens, plays an important role in recent years. Especially in mathematical education, consumer and financial literacy offers rich opportunities for interdisciplinary approaches that support students to apply mathematical knowledge and skills confidently, effectively and appropriately in complex and changing circumstances, in their learning at school and in their lives outside school. For that reason, they could achieve dual goals which are fostering mathematical competencies and financial literacy. In this article, we propose a designing process of experiential activities which integrates consumer and financial literacy in Mathematics and illustrate the process through an example.
This study assessed the density and de-nitrification potential of indigenous microorganisms in mangroves and seagrass beds in northern Vietnam through two mangrove ecosystems in Tien Yen - Quang Ninh and Bang La - Hai Phong and three seagrass beds in Ha Coi and Dam Ha - Quang Ninh and Tam Giang - Thua Thien Hue. The analysis results of 4 sampling times in rainy and dry seasons during 2017–2019 showed that the density of de-nitrifying bacteria ranged from (1.0 × 102)–(4.6 × 103) MPN/mL, averaging 1.1 ± 0.3 × 103 MPN/mL. The density in mangroves was higher than that in seagrass (a = 0.05). De-nitrification rates ranged from 0.0 µgN/wet to 69.0 µgN/wet soil g/hour, averaging 18.4 ± 7.4 µgN/wet soil g/hour. The rate at the experiments added 0.5 mgN/L in seagrass was higher than that in the mangrove. The density and rate of de-nitrification were significantly correlated with many environmental factors, especially density of sulfur-oxidizing bacteria, the density of nitrifying bacteria, pH, Eh, Nts, N-NH4, P- PO4 and BOD5.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
