INTRODUÇÃO: O desenvolvimento e a utilização de vacinas configuram-se de extrema importância para o enfrentamento e para a gestão da crise de saúde mundial devido à infecção causada pelo novo Coronavírus. A pandemia impõe inúmeros desafios de ordem econômica, epidemiológica e, sobretudo, biomédica pela alta transmissibilidade do SARS-CoV-2 e pela gravidade da evolução clínica da doença para sua forma severa. A crise pandêmica tem levado os profissionais à exaustão e os sistemas de saúde a estados quase colapsados em todo o mundo. Além disso, no contexto brasileiro, os impactos da pandemia são ainda mais perceptíveis, pois existe, entre outros fatores, uma relevante dificuldade de disponibilidade de testes diagnóstico para toda à população, o que impede a detecção de casos suspeitos, e o posterior emprego de medidas de propagação da doença. Nesse sentido, a vacinação -modo de proporcionar uma memória imunológica de longa duração -demonstra-se uma saída eficiente de controle e contenção da disseminação do SARS-CoV-2. Assim, neste artigo buscou-se analisar as vacinas Sinovac, Astrazeneca, Janssen, Pfizer, importantes pelo seu uso ou potencial uso no Brasil, com a finalidade de comparar suas respectivas plataformas tecnológicas, segurança, eficácia, entre outros parâmetros. METODOLOGIA: Utilizando-se a base Pubmed e o site clinicaltrials.gov, foram selecionados 22 artigos a respeito de 13 vacinas desenvolvidas contra Sars-Cov-2. RESULTADOS/ DISCUSSÃO: Os estudos têm como objetivo avaliar a produção de resposta imune e a ocorrência de efeitos adversos de componentes vacinais dos tipos: vírus inativado, RNA mensageiro, vetor recombinante e partícula recombinante. Tratam-se de ensaios clínicos randomizados, controlados de fase III, com cegamento, número e idade de participantes variados, que ainda encontram-se em andamento. CONCLUSÃO: Os estudos sobre vacinas contra o coronavírus que vêm sendo realizados têm alcançado resultados promissores quanto à eficácia e segurança dos agentes imunológicos. Introdução: analisar a persistência de hiperglicemia no pós parto em pacientes com histórico de diabetes mellitus gestacional. Metodologia: Revisão sistemática no Pubmed e Scopus, usando ensaios clínicos randomizados, dos últimos 10 anos (Pubmed), 20 anos (Scopus) em inglês. Com descritores: Post partum period AND Diabetes mellitus, gestational AND Hyperglicemia e Diabetes AND Mellitus AND Gestation AND Puerperium AND Hyperglicemia. Resultados: Os estudos demonstraram a importância de se utilizar mais de um método diagnóstico para DMG. As medidas não farmacológicas de mudanças de estilo de vida se mostram suficientes na maioria das pacientes. Discussão: Outros estudos levantaram questões como a necessidade de utilização de mais de um teste para diagnosticar tais condições patológicas, níveis elevados de proteína C reativa, hiperglicemia gestacional, níveis elevados de triglicerídeos, fatores étnicos, histórico familiar, tratamento e ganho excessivo de peso, sendo alguns consoantes e outros dissonantes em relação aos resultados dos estudos selecionados pelo presente artigo. Conclusão: Faz-se necessário uma padronização de um diagnóstico eficaz e propostas de intervenção com melhor evolução para a paciente, além de realizar avaliação individual, nos quesitos ambientais étnicos, história pregressa do paciente e histórico familiar da doença, a fim de predizer as suas chances de cursar com doença gestacional.
