ResumoO artigo trata das últimas tragédias vivenciadas pelo Haiti sob a ótica da segurança humana, levando em consideração o papel desempenhado pela sociedade civil na reconstrução do Estado haitiano. Ao analisar a situação atual da população do Haiti, argumento que as políticas e programas adotados no país pelas organizações não governamentais não têm cumprido com suas expectativas. Argumento também, que com uma agenda difusa, a realização de políticas práticas se torna difícil, sendo a coordenação e o diálogo entre os atores um caminho para se atingir o desenvolvimento. Palavras-chave Segurança humana, Organizações não governamentais, Haiti AbstractThis paper is about the latest tragedies experienced by Haiti from the human security perspective, taking into account the role played by the civil society in the reconstruction of the Haitian State. I analyze the current situation of the population in Haiti, and claim that the policies and programs adopted therein by non-governmental organizations have not been meeting the expectations. I also claim that with a diffuse agenda, the accomplishment of practical policies becomes difficult, being the coordination and dialogue between the actors a path for achieving development.
