Objetivo: determinar o perfil bacteriológico e os regimes antibióticos utilizados para o tratamento da Gangrena de Fournier. Método: Foi realizada uma Revisão Bibliográfica. Os artigos foram selecionados a partir das seguintes bases de dados: ProQuest (https://www.proquest.com/), PubMed (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/), e ScienceDirect (https://www.sciencedirect.com/) em espanhol ou inglês, usando descritores e operadores booleanos AND e OR. Resultados: O perfil bacteriológico da gangrena de Fournier é principalmente do tipo polimicrobiano, com maior presença de bactérias gram-negativas e anaeróbicas, entre as quais as mais importantes são Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, Klebsiella pneumoniae e Bacteroides fragilis. As bactérias gram-positivas, as mais proeminentes são Staphylococcus aureus e Streptococcus spp. Há também bactérias multiresistentes, principalmente Escherichia coli blee e Staphylococcus aureus resistente à meticilina. Quanto ao tratamento, existem múltiplos regimes antibióticos, sendo o mais amplamente utilizado e recomendado: cefalosporina de terceira geração mais aminoglicosídeo mais metronidazol. Conclusão: a gangrena de Fournier é uma patologia rara, mas muito devastadora, difícil de tratar e com um prognóstico ruim. A infecção é principalmente polimicrobiana e o tratamento antibiótico necessário é de amplo espectro.
Introdução: A ginecomastia, uma condição benigna mais comumente vista nos serviços médicos de atenção primária, é freqüentemente negligenciada para observação e gerenciamento adequado. É uma desordem relativamente comum na população masculina, com 36-65% tendo tecido glandular palpável medindo pelo menos 2 cm de diâmetro subareolar. Embora, inicialmente, seu tratamento geralmente ocorra por conta própria, de acordo com dados da Sociedade Americana de Oncologia Clínica, 0,2% dos casos estão associados ao câncer de mama masculino. Método: Foi realizada uma revisão de literatura. Todos os artigos relacionados ao gerenciamento de pacientes com ginecomastia, meta-análise, revisão sistemática e de qualquer idioma foram incluídos. Os dados foram coletados de artigos originais em revistas indexadas, utilizando bancos de dados digitais como: Scopus, Pubmed, LILACS, Springer. Com a ajuda dos termos de busca "Ginecomastia" E "Tratamento"; "ginecomastia" E "protocolos". Resultados: com a pesquisa abordada, foram identificados 12 artigos cobrindo diferenças substanciais no tratamento atual versus o tratamento tradicional em pacientes com ginecomastia. Conclusão: Foi estabelecido que o tamoxifen é mais eficiente que a radioterapia como tratamento farmacológico da ginecomastia, e no campo do tratamento cirúrgico com menos complicações é a cirurgia com retalho de tecido pediculado póstero-inferior para reconstrução mamária seguida pela técnica do pedículo periareolar duplo.
