Objetivo: identificar complicações ocorridas nas 72 horas iniciais do pós-operatório de cirurgias cardíacas e sua associação com características clínicas e demográficas. Método: estudo transversal, realizado com a análise de prontuários dos pacientes submetidos a cirurgias cardíacas entre janeiro de 2018 a dezembro de 2019 em hospital de grande porte. Resultados: dos 252 prontuários avaliados, houve prevalência de homens, idosos, atendidos pelo Sistema Único de Saúde, com comorbidades e que utilizavam medicamentos contínuos. O tipo de cirurgia prevalente foi de trocas valvares unitárias e 75,8% dos pacientes apresentaram complicações, sendo as mais frequentes de origem cardíaca. Foram observadas associações entre a presença destas com mediana de idade maior, comorbidades e maior tempo de circulação extracorpórea, além de complicações categóricas com reintervenção e mortalidade em 72 horas e geral. Conclusão: foram identificadas complicações cardíacas, renais, hidroeletrolíticas, pulmonares, hematológicas e neurológicas, estando estas, em alguns casos, associadas a aspectos de maior gravidade.
O estudo objetivou descrever as características sociodemográficas e clínicas de idosos com diabetes mellitus e/ou hipertensão arterial em acompanhamento pela Estratégia de Saúde da Família e relacionar com a adesão terapêutica. Estudo transversal, realizado com 99 idosos que possuíam diabetes mellitus e/ou hipertensão arterial em tratamento medicamentoso. A coleta de dados ocorreu nas Estratégias de Saúde da Família de um município do Extremo Oeste de Santa Catarina. Foi utilizado um questionário de caracterização e a Escala de Adesão Terapêutica de Morisky. Quanto à caracterização, a maioria dos idosos eram do sexo feminino, possuíam 1° grau incompleto, renda mensal de até 2 salários mínimos, consideravam sua alimentação saudável e não fumavam. Quanto à adesão terapêutica, 71 foram aderentes e 28 não aderentes. Maiores níveis de adesão terapêutica para a hipertensão arterial e/ou diabetes estão relacionados a ter algum estudo formal, alimentação saudável e não fumar ou conviver com alguém que fuma.Descritores: Diabetes Mellitus, Hipertensão, Adesão à Medicação, Idoso, Estratégia Saúde da Família. Estudio transversal, realizado con 99 personas mayores con diabetes mellitus y/o hipertensión arterial sometidas a tratamiento farmacológico. La recopilación de datos se produjo en las Estrategias de salud familiar de un municipio en el extremo oeste de Santa Catarina. Se utilizó un cuestionario de caracterización y la Escala de Adherencia Terapéutica Morisky. En cuanto a la caracterización, la mayoría de los ancianos eran mujeres, tenían educación primaria incompleta, ingresos mensuales de hasta 2 salarios mínimos, consideraban que su dieta era saludable y no fumaban. En cuanto a la adherencia terapéutica, 71 eran adherentes y 28 no adherentes. Los niveles más altos de adherencia terapéutica para la presión arterial alta y/o diabetes están relacionados con tener un estudio formal, comer sano y no fumar o vivir con alguien que fuma.Descriptores: Diabetes Mellitus, Hipertensión, Adherencia a la Medicación, Anciano, Estrategia de Salud Familiar.
Objetiva-se analisar os aspectos sociodemográficos, econômicos, comportamentais e clínicos e a associação entre a adesão à terapia antirretroviral para o HIV. Trata-se de um estudo transversal, das quais participaram 114 pessoas em terapia antirretroviral para o HIV. Para a coleta de dados utilizou-se um instrumento contendo aspectos sociodemográficos, econômicos, comportamentais e clínicos e o Cuestionário para la Evaluación de la Adhesión al Tratamiento Antiretroviral. Realizou-se análises bivariadas e de regressão de Poisson. Foi possível identificar melhor probabilidade de apresentar adesão em pessoas com idade superior a 40 anos, que estão de um a três anos em tratamento, que manifestaram facilidade em realizar o acompanhamento no serviço de saúde, que já apresentaram alguma doença oportunista e as pessoas que não apresentavam alguma condição psiquiátrica. Conclui-se a idade, o tempo de tratamento, o acompanhamento no serviço de saúde, apresentar alguma doença oportunista e não ter nenhuma condição psiquiátrica estão associados significativamente com a adesão à terapia antirretroviral.
