O presente artigo se propõe a mapear quais foram os desafios e as contribuições das Tecnologias Digitais da Informação e Comunicação (TDICs) para a formação e atuação desenvolvidas pelo futuro professor de Teatro, estudante-artista-docente, frente ao cenário avassalador de disseminação do COVID-19 no Brasil. Os dados foram coletados eletronicamente. A pesquisa contou com a participação de 54 estudantes do Curso de Licenciatura em Teatro de uma Instituição de Educação Superior (IES) do Distrito Federal. As informações foram sistematizadas e analisadas por meio da técnica de análise de conteúdo, proposta por Bardin (2010), possibilitando a identificação de três categorias: 1) Utilização das TDICs na formação de estudantes do curso de Licenciatura em Teatro, 2) Utilização das TDICs na produção artística dos universitários, 3) Aprendizagem do estudante-artista-docente em formação. Os resultados revelaram que, inicialmente, a pandemia causada pelo novo coronavírus, SARS-CoV-2, instigou terror, ansiedade e insegurança aos universitários. Com o acompanhamento didático e mediação pedagógica necessárias, os universitários descobriram suas potencialidades e, com o passar do tempo, transformaram-se, apropriaram-se de aprendizagens significativas. Aos mediadores do componente curricular, foi imprescindível o aprimoramento das estratégias didáticas para promoção da ensinagem, assim como, da utilização das TDICs com o propósito de fomentar e contribuir com a emancipação intelectual do artista-educador.
Para compreendermos em que contexto se dá a manifestação contemporânea denominada Teatro de Invasão, assim como alguns dos conceitos nela imbricados, propõe-se resgatar alguns traços do Teatro Moderno que reverberam diretamente na multiplicidade de poéticas cênicas que compõem o Teatro Contemporâneo.As pesquisas sobre o Teatro Moderno reiteram que a revolução tecnológica ocorrida nos últimos anos do século XIX contribuiu diretamente para o que foi chamado de "surgimento do encenador", na medida em que pode proporcionar um inicial apagamento de fronteiras e distâncias entre países, fazendo com que as pesquisas teóricas e as práticas teatrais subsequentes circulassem com maior facilidade, além de ter proporcionado a descoberta dos recursos da iluminação elétrica.Neste sentido, houve um avanço significativo no pensamento da cena enquanto "representação feita sob a perspectiva de um sistema de sentido" (PAVIS,2013:03), consequentemente, da iluminação para além da sua funcionalidade técnica, sendo entendida também em seu caráter poético. Assim, a luz "torna-se elemento preponderante da cenografia." (ROUBINE,1998:21).
