Este artículo indaga, a través de un estudio comparativo entre artículos científicos, sobre cómo los autores se construyen en cuanto enunciadores académicos en diversas disciplinas. Se toman las categorías de metafunción interpersonal de Halliday y de metadiscurso de Hyland.</p><p>A partir de una metodología de análisis cualitativa, se analiza un corpus compuesto por tres series: serie A (artículos de filosofía), B (artículos de biología) y C (artículos de química).</p><p>Los resultados muestran que los artículos de filosofía presentan mitigadores y enfatizadores de modo homogéneo a lo largo de todo el texto, debido a la intención predominantemente argumentativa que existe en ellos; en cambio, en los artículos de biología y química, se registra una mayor presencia de modalizadores cuando se destaca la importancia del objeto por estudiar o cuando se discuten los resultados. Los artículos de filosofía presentan marcas de primera persona, no hallados en los textos de otras disciplinas.
En este artículo se apunta a analizar los (micro)discursos que se encuentran en los baños públicos de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, Mendoza – Argentina. Se focalizan las temáticas que se abordan, la clase de diálogos que se establecen y las valoraciones que se ponen de manifiesto. Se trata de una investigación de tipo cualitativo y exploratorio. Se trabaja con un corpus de imágenes recopilado en los baños públicos de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la Universidad Nacional de Cuyo en el mes de junio de 2022.
Este artículo surge de la actividad docente en la plataforma Moodle. Su objetivo es ilustrativo, busca dar un ejemplo de diversas situaciones que se produjeron en el uso de los cuestionarios de la plataforma y ofrecer opciones didácticas que pueden resultar de utilidad a la hora de resolver situaciones similares. Se pretenden focalizar dos aspectos del uso de los cuestionarios de Moodle: la confección de las consignas y la revisión manual de los resultados automáticos que arroja la plataforma. En primer lugar, se hace una breve explicación acerca de los cuestionarios: en qué consisten, qué tipos de preguntas permiten realizar, cómo se obtienen los resultados y cómo se revisan. En segundo lugar, se ofrecen algunas herramientas utilizadas en la práctica docente personal para la confección apropiada de las consignas. En tercer lugar, se proporcionan algunas orientaciones sobre el modo de llevar a cabo las revisiones de las calificaciones automáticas de Moodle. Finalmente, se cierra el trabajo con una conclusión que sintetiza lo trabajado.
Introducción: La enfermedad por el nuevo coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) ha cambiado la practica quirúrgica. Su aparición en nuestro país a provocado el aplazamiento masivo de las cirugías electivas. La evidencia actual sobre los desenlaces de las cirugías electivas de otorrinolaringología durante la pandemia de COVID-19 es limitada.
Objetivo: Describir la experiencia quirúrgica durante la pandemia de COVID 19 en un departamento de Otorrinolaringología en Bogotá, Colombia.
Métodos: Estudio retrospectivo que incluyo las historias clínicas y las descripciones quirúrgicas de los pacientes que fueron llevados a cirugía de otorrinolaringología durante la pandemia de COVID-19 en dos hospitales entre el 5 de mayo y el 15 de agosto de 2020 en Bogotá, Colombia.
Resultados: Se incluyeron 199 pacientes (122 hombres y una mediana de edad de 28 años). Ningún paciente falleció o requirió unidad de cuidados intensivos (UCI). E 97,5% de las cirugías fueron electivas. 19,5% pacientes desarrollaron síntomas relacionados con COVID-19 en el postoperatorio, de los pacientes evaluados, solo uno obtuvo un resultado positivo postquirúrgico para COVID-19 y no desarrolló ninguna complicación. Seis pacientes desarrollaron complicaciones después de la cirugía y uno tuvo neumonía con resultado de PCR nasofaríngeo para COVID-19 negativo.
Conclusiones: A pesar de la alta exposición a aerosoles durante las cirugías de otorrinolaringología y la alta transmisibilidad del virus, los resultados sugieren que las cirugías de otorrinolaringología con el uso apropiado del equipo de protección personal (EPP) y la adecuada selección de los pacientes es segura para el paciente y para el otorrinolaringólogo.
