RESUMENEste segundo artículo presenta los resultados obtenidos luego de aplicar el instrumento a sujetos de género masculino. Se concluye que, al igual que al aplicar el instrumento a sujetos de género femenino, existen estereotipos sociales muy definidos para cada uno de los nombres propuestos (Agustín, Marcelo y Jason (Yeison)). También, se concluye que las mujeres poseen mayor asertividad al momento de emitir sus juicios, lo que es compatible con los hallazgos de otras investigaciones en Sociolingüística.Palabras clave: Estereotipos, nombres propios, Sociología del Lenguaje.Social stereotypes associated to six names in a sample of forty subjects of higher education level (2)ABSTRACTThis second article presents the results obtained after applying the instrument to male subjects. It concludes that, as in applying the instrument to female subjects, there are social stereotypes very defined for each of the proposed names (Augustín, Marcelo and Jason (Yeison)). It also concludes that women possess greater assertiveness when issuing their judgments, which supports the findings of other studies in Sociolinguistics.Key words: Stereotypes, proper names, Sociology of Language.
En este trabajo, dividido en dos artículos, se presentan los resultados obtenidos luego de aplicar un instrumento en que se pedía a los sujetos señalar aspectos de la apariencia física, gustos, residencia y nivel de estudios de personas que llevaran los nombres femeninos Julieta, Sandra y Shirley, y los nombres masculinos Agustín, Marcelo y Jason (Yeison). De las respuestas de los sujetos se concluye que existen estereotipos sociales muy definidos para cada uno de ellos. En este primer artículo se presentan los resultados obtenidos al aplicar el instrumento a los sujetos de género femenino.Palabras clave: Estereotipos, nombres propios, sociología del lenguaje.Social stereotypes associated to six proper nouns within a sample of forty subjects with higher educational level ABSTRACT This work, divided into two articles, presents the results of an instrument applied to some subjects who were asked to define aspects related to physical appearance, likes, residence and educational level of people who have the female names Julieta, Sandra and Shirley and the male names Agustín, Marcelo and Jason. From these subjects' responses it is concluded that there are stereotypes very well defined for each of them.
