Resumo: Neste artigo abordaremos a crise entre Theodor Adorno e movimento estudantil alemão do final dos anos 60, crise esta que causa espanto a princípio, pois Adorno, um filósofo de influência marxista e referência para a esquerda da época, chegou a recorrer à polícia contra os estudantes. O presente artigo visa contextualizar melhor esse conflito, tanto política quanto teoricamente, e por isso vamos analisar a visão de Adorno sobre as possibilidades de emancipação; o papel de Adorno no movimento estudantil; um texto de Hans Jurgen Krahl, ex-aluno de Adorno engajado no movimento estudantil, sobre a posição político-intelectual de seu antigo mestre; e, por último, uma importante entrevista de Adorno revolvendo estes fatos e o contexto da época. The crisis between Theodor Adorno and the german student movement in the late 60s Abstract: In this article, we will address the crisis between Theodor Adorno and the german student movement of the late 1960s, a crisis that is startling at first, as Adorno, a marxist-influenced philosopher and a reference to the left at the time, even resorted to the police against students . This article aims to better contextualize this conflict, both politically and theoretically, and that is why we will analyze Adorno's vision of the possibilities of emancipation; Adorno's role in the student movement; a text by Hans Jurgen Krahl, a former student of Adorno engaged in the student movement, on the political-intellectual position of his former teacher; and, finally, an important interview by Adorno revolving around these facts and the context of the time.
