El constructo Smart se menciona para guiar la gestión y esfuerzos de entornos geográficos orientados a mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas, logrando ser de interés de diversos entornos debido a beneficios perceptuales como la atracción y permanencia en estos. Se encuentra que las universidades en su rol de innovación lo han extrapolado y han podido implementar en su infraestructura tanto estética como estratégica el constructo Smart, y a pesar de volverse un fenómeno en tendencia, no se ha logrado documentar con la amplitud que el constructo merece. Por lo anterior, el objetivo de la investigación consistió en analizar la percepción de atracción que poseen los entornos universitarios a partir del cumplimiento del diseño ambiental Smart, basados en tres componentes: ambientes de naturaleza, servicios de tecnología, y prácticas sostenibles aplicado a la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana en Bogotá. Se demostró por medio de una metodología de investigación mixta (método cualitativo y cuantitativo), la percepción de cada componente Smart del entorno universitario, extendiendo el dominio teórico del constructo y ofreciendo hallazgos que amplían la comprensión de implementar los diseños ambientales dentro de la infraestructura del entorno mismo y sus implicaciones para la atracción y retención de comunidad universitaria.
Existe un concepto cercano a los lineamientos de los objetivos del desarrollo sostenible (ODS) denominado Smart, que nace en el modelo de la gestión de ciudades inteligentes o Smart Cities, orientadas a mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas a través de la innovación en tres componentes comunes: Espacios o ambientes de naturaleza, uso de servicios de tecnología, y la gestión de prácticas de sostenibilidad. En esta línea, el concepto Smart, a pesar de ser aplicado a diversos ámbitos, no se ha documentado investigaciones aplicadas a los entornos universitarios, siendo dicho ámbito de interés general, al considerarse pionera en las tendencias de innovación debido a su compromiso moral de brindar excelencia en la formación y bienestar de su comunidad educativa. Por lo anterior, el objetivo de la investigación consiste en explorar la percepción de sostenibilidad que tienen los entornos universitarios a partir del cumplimiento de los componentes de lugares Smart basados en ambientes de naturaleza, servicios de tecnología, y prácticas sostenibles aplicado a la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana en Bogotá. Se demostró por medio de una metodología de investigación mixta (método cualitativo y cuantitativo), la percepción de cada componente Smart existente en el entorno universitario extendiendo el dominio teórico de la sostenibilidad e innovación. Los hallazgos favorecen la comprensión de mejorar la calidad de vida educativa discutiendo implicaciones del cumplimiento de los objetivos del desarrollo sostenible a través de los componentes de lugares Smart.
La literatura en negocios y mercadeo ha señalado la importancia de investigar el concepto de sostenibilidad desde diferentes perspectivas, siendo la industria de la moda un ámbito de especial interés debido a su constante desarrollo, gran tamaño, y amplio involucramiento con el consumidor. Por lo anterior, el objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar tanto los factores de comercialización de la moda sostenible por parte de empresarios, y los factores motivacionales de su consumo por parte del consumidor, considerándose esta investigación un primer acercamiento al tema. Se ha seguido una investigación mixta combinando una fase cualitativa dirigida a empresarios logrando 12 entrevistas y una fase cuantitativa dirigida a los consumidores de moda sostenible consiguiendo 385 encuestas online. Los resultados se organizan en dos fases complementarias, de acuerdo con el objetivo y perspectiva motivacional estudiada. Los hallazgos sugieren que los empresarios deciden fabricar y comercializar prendas de vestir sostenibles debido a valores aspiracionales de contribuir a la sociedad, mientras que los consumidores deciden comprar y usar prendas de vestir sostenibles por razones simbólicas para cuidar y aportar a la sociedad y al planeta.
La experiencia que tienen las personas frente a la publicidad en redes sociales es un tópico de interés en la gestión de marketing digital; en este sentido, el concepto de brand experience ofrece una alternativa para mejorar la comprensión de las dimensiones críticas que optimizan los vínculos y atención de los consumidores hacia las marcas que deciden hacer publicidad. El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar los componentes evaluativos de la experiencia frente a la publicidad de ropa en la red social Instagram. Se desarrolló una investigación de naturaleza cuantitativa utilizando como técnica de recolección de datos, la encuesta online. Los resultados, a través de análisis descriptivo y solución factorial, revelan tres factores constitutivos de la experiencia. Finalmente, discutimos el dominio del componente comportamental, seguido por el componente afectivo y a su vez, el componente intelectual de la experiencia de marca en Instagram.
