Baby massage is a form of stimulus given by the midwife to stimulate the baby's gross motor development. Several internal and external factors can affect gross motor development in infants. This study uses a quantitative research design, which uses the one group pretest-posttest design method, namely one intervention group without a control group, with a total of 17 infants as respondents, after 4 massages in 1 month an assessment using KPSP was carried out. The results of the T-test showed an increase in the appropriate category, while in the decreasing category there was a decrease in the value of sig. 0.018 and <0.05, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, so there is an effect of baby massage on the baby's gross motor development.
The authors conducted a systematic review of adolescents receiving a macronutrient (iron, zinc) intervention compared to a multi-micronutrient intervention to investigate their efficacy on nutritional status. Systematic searches were conducted in four database sources—Science Direct, ProQuest, EBSCO, and Google Scholar. A PICO worksheet was used to define keywords, including 1) Patient/Problem: Preconception for adolescent OR girl student, 2) Intervention: Iron and zinc OR Fe and Zn OR macronutrients, 3) Comparison: Multi-micronutrient, and 4) Outcome: Nutritional status. Inclusion criteria included female adolescents aged 9–24 years and English and Indonesian articles published from 2013 to 2020. The risk of bias was assessed by minimizing four potential sources of bias: sample selection, research design, control of confounding variables, and data collection techniques. Result: 10 relevant studies discussing iron, zinc, and multi-micronutrient supplements for adolescents were identified. Iron and zinc interventions are efficacious in preventing anemia, enhancing hemoglobin concentration, improving body mass index, and reducing the risk of low birth weight and preeclampsia for women in the preconception phase. The multi-micronutrient intervention has similar efficacy, but it can better affect the maternal immune response and the production of the human placental lactogen hormone, which ultimately increases placental weight and birth weight while lowering the risk of abortion and prematurity. Conclusion: Iron, zinc, and multi-micronutrient interventions play a pivotal role in improving the nutritional status of adolescents in preparing the preconception phase because they provide positive benefits and can prevent nutritional deficiencies before pregnancy, during pregnancy, and after delivery.
Introduction. Pregnancy is a physiological process that almost always takes place in every woman. However, there are some mothers who experience discomfort. Knowledge can be influenced by a person's characteristics including age and parity. Increasing a person's age can affect the increase in knowledge gained. Likewise, mothers who have several children generally have better knowledge because they have had hands-on experience in previous pregnancies. The incidence of discomfort in the third trimester at Clinic A was 56 cases. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of age and parity on knowledge of pregnant women about discomfort of the third trimester at Kilink "A" Banjaran in 2022. Method. This research is an analytic study with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study were 85 pregnant women in the third trimester. Data analysis used multivariate analysis with linear regression, namely to test jointly the effect of the dependent variable, namely age and parity with the independent variable, namely knowledge. Result & Analysis. The results showed that the age variable has a correlation value of 0.363 while the parity variable has a correlation value of 0.041, meaning that the age factor is the most influential factor on knowledge. This can be related to the theory that the older a person is, the experience will increase and affect knowledge. this can happen because in this study most of the mothers were aged 25-35 years. Discussion. The age of 20-35 years is a mature age and has sufficient knowledge and experience both in terms of maturity in thinking and mentally to live a household.
Background, in Indonesia most women experience menopause around the age of 50 years, and in some women menopause can take place at around 40 years of age or no later than 60 years (Soehartono, 2010). Until the end of the 21st century there were around 18,000,000-20,000,000 elderly, which is a significant number and requires serious attention. In Indonesia, it is the responsibility of the elderly to take care of them. The purpose of this study was to find out how the relationship between husband support and women's readiness to face menopause. The method used in this study was an analytical survey. The measurement design is carried out in a cross-sectional manner, namely a research design by measuring or observing at the same time (one time). The research was conducted at RW 8 Cibeber, South Cimahi. The study was conducted in January - August 2020. The population in this study were all mothers aged 45-59 years who lived in RW 8 Cibeber, Cimahi Selatan, totaling 163 people. Results of the analysis of the relationship between husband's support and readiness, there were 28 (44%) of 40 people whose husband's support was not supported with readiness in the unprepared category, while 7 (11%) of 23 people whose readiness were in the unprepared category. The results of the Chi-square test obtained a p value of 0.003, which means that there is a significant relationship between husband's support and women's readiness to face menopause. The conclusion in this study is that women's knowledge about menopause has a significant relationship with women's readiness to face menopause. The attitude of women about menopause has a significant relationship with women's readiness to face menopause. Husband's support for menopause has a significant relationship with women's readiness to face menopause.
