La perspectiva crítica de la extensión universitaria además de presentarse como un sólido y dinámico corpus teórico metodológico en construcción permanente, se ha convertido en los últimos años en un movimiento latinoamericano con proyección regional que promueve desde la reflexión sobre las prácticas territoriales un nuevo modelo de universidad, “una Universidad en contexto”. Dicha situación nos alienta en el trabajo de la producción teórica a partir del análisis de nuestras acciones proponiendo formas “otras” de producir conocimiento.
En este artículo abordaremos conceptualizaciones y categorizaciones de la perspectiva decolonial buscando hacer un aporte teórico a la extensión crítica.
El presente artículo tiene la intención de analizar el conflicto del Canal de Beagle entre Argentina y Chile a la luz de la teoría de la transformación de los conflictos. Para ello se presentará un recorrido histórico del mismo y un análisis de su resolución hasta la firma del Tratado de Paz y Amistad de 1984. Dicho Tratado constituyó un catalizador para la renovación de las relaciones internacionales entre ambos países y el comienzo de un proceso de integración y amistad que pueden comprenderse a la luz de la cultura kantiana.
Este artículo presenta una sistematización de la experiencia del Foro de Jóvenes por una Latinoamérica integrada desarrollado entre los años 2012 y 2016 y llevada adelante por la Universidad Nacional de Rosario. El mismo trata de una experiencia extensionista en integración sociocultural con las comunidades de inmigrantes latinoamericanos residentes en la ciudad. Con este objetivo, en primer lugar, daremos cuenta de las condiciones de contexto y las situaciones particulares que posibilitaron el desarrollo de la práctica. Luego, describiremos las acciones llevadas adelante con las comunidades de inmigrantes latinoamericanos residentes en Rosario y, finalmente, abordaremos los aprendizajes adquiridos durante la experiencia por los estudiantes involucrados en la práctica. A modo de cierre, reflexionaremos críticamente sobre las posibilidades de pensar y accionar una nueva práctica transformadora.
En el living de su casa, a escasos segundos de cumplirse el mediodía del sábado 22 de julio de 2017, en Asunción (Paraguay), un sol intenso ingresaba por la ventana cuando Julio César Frutos nos abrió la puerta de su departamento en el centro de la ciudad. Estaba muy contento de recibirnos y de nuestro interés por la historia y la actualidad del Paraguay. Nos sentamos y comenzamos a hablar, pasaron varios minutos hasta que recordamos encender el grabador. Nos mostró la pintura original de la tapa de su libro “Francisco Solano López: Memorias de la Guerra de la Triple Alianza” que tiene enmarcada en su comedor, lo que facilitó el comienzo de la entrevista.
El presente ensayo reúne dos entrevistas realizadas a los responsables de extensión de dos universidades latinoamericanas. Por un lado, la Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro y por el otro, la Universidad Nacional de Rosario. El objetivo es compartir experiencias y perspectivas, así como el trabajo que se viene desarrollando en dos puntos opuestos de América Latina: México y Argentina respectivamente.
