JEL Classification: O32Streszczenie: Cele artykułu to prezentacja poziomu świadomości polskich menedżerów co do znaczenia analityki Big Data oraz określenie, na ile potrzeby analityczne polskich firm wiążą się w sposób jawny bądź nie z przetwarzaniem właśnie tego typu danych i z wdrażaniem odpowiednich do tego rozwiązań IT. Pytania badawcze brzmią następująco: jak menedżerowie rozumieją znaczenie terminu Big Data, jakie są rodzaje analityki biznesowej szczególnie ważne dla organizacji, jakie rodzaje danych i/lub wiedzy, rozwiązania ICT i jakie funkcjonalności narzędzi ICT mających wspierać zaawansowane analizy biznesowe są pożądane przez polskich menedżerów. Wyniki prezentowane w artykule są wynikiem badań przeprowadzonych w 2016 r. z wykorzystaniem studiów przypadków. Metodą zbierania danych były wywiady półustrukturyzowane, przeprowadzone w 15 polskich przedsiębiorstwach. Stwierdzono, że potrzeby analityczne polskich menedżerów można powiązać z pojęciem Big Data, ponadto w wypowiedziach respondentów silnie uwidaczniają się temporalny charakter Big Data i dominująca rola czasu w analityce tych danych.
Wsparcie twórczej organizacji i twórczego procesu poprzez narzędzia ICT (Information and Communications Technology) i IT (Information Technology) z użyciem metodyki TRIZ, czyli teorii rozwiązywania innowacyjnych zadań, to propozycja wzbogacenia dotychczasowego dorobku naukowego w zakresie stwierdzonego braku kompleksowego narzędzia w tym obszarze. Jest to również propozycja dla praktyków, którzy mają wpływ na kształt, kierunek i dynamikę rozwoju systemów zarządzania w organizacjach oraz na proces twórczy i proces porozumiewania się.
