Introdução: A pandemia da Covid-19 teve um impacto severo na saúde mental e bem-estar das pessoas em todo o mundo. Enquanto muitos indivíduos se adaptaram, outros experimentaram problemas de saúde mental, em alguns casos como consequência da doença. Objetivo Geral: O presente estudo teve como objetivo realizar uma revisão bibliográfica a acerca do uso abusivo de benzodiazepínicos em razão da Pandemia Covid-19. Metodologia: Foi realizada uma revisão sistemática de literatura, onde foram coletados os resultados dos principais estudos contidos nas bases de dados científicas SciELO, LILACS e PubMed em Português. Foram selecionados 14 artigos que se enquadravam nos objetivos e nos critérios de inclusão. Elaborou-se um quadro e três gráficos com o propósito de apresentar de forma objetiva as principais informações coletadas. Resultados E Discussão: A análise do uso abusivo de benzodiazepínicos em razão da Pandemia da Covid-19 serve de subsídio para políticas públicas, incluindo assim, cada vez mais o farmacêutico e o papel da Atenção Farmacêutica frente essa problemática. A literatura descreve o tratamento com benzodiazepínicos na ansiedade, de maneira imediata para diminuir sintomas, e os resultados indicam que o uso abusivo desses medicamentos foi uma prática comum no período da pandemia ocorrendo aumento na sua utilização. Considerações Finais: Durante pandemia Covid-19 houve aumento significativo do uso dos BZDs para sintomas de TAG ocasionados pelo momento atípico e incertezas econômicas.
