Представлена имитационная модель торцового контактного уплотнения для многорежимной турбомашины, в которой совместно рассматриваются процессы гидродинамики, деформаций и изнашивания уплотнительных поверхностей. Проведено исследование влияния формы зазора на характеристики торцового контактного уплотнения. Выявлено, что при многорежимной работе турбомашины совместное действие деформаций и изнашивания контактирующих поверхностей уплотнения может качественно изменить форму зазора, а также контактное давление, тепловыделение и величину утечек. При расчёте уплотнений необходим учёт предыстории нагружения для прогнозирования ресурса и уровня герметичности уплотнений. Сложные формы зазора, возникающие при смене режима работы турбомашины, приводят к существенным утечкам рабочего тела и интенсивному изнашиванию. Приведено описание созданного программного комплекса, позволяющего моделировать работу многорежимного торцового контактного уплотнения и определять при заданных параметрах режимов работы турбомашины ресурс уплотнения до определенного предельного износа, а также изменение температуры, мощности трения, утечек через уплотнение по времени работы. Имитационная модель может быть использована для отработки методик расчёта характеристик уплотнения, оценки степени влияния на характеристики эксплуатационных и конструктивных факторов, разработки методик ускоренных испытаний при совместном учёте деформаций и изнашивания уплотнительных поверхностей. Использование модели на этапе доводки конструкции уплотнительного узла и назначения эксплуатационных режимов позволит повысить информативность испытаний, снизить затраты на проектирование за счёт уменьшения объёма экспериментальных исследований. Структура имитационной модели позволяет менять отдельные модули, подбирая наиболее подходящую расчётную модель и допускает проведение не только имитационного, но и натурного моделирования, когда отдельные физические процессы в процессе расчёта будут моделироваться на стендовых установках, а полученные результаты передаваться в расчётный цикл.
