This descriptive research study has been undertaken in Tirunelveli city, Tamilnadu to foresee and differentiate perception of the nurses working in multi-speciality and single speciality hospitals towards the impact of employee turnover on performance of existing nurses. The study has sampled 120 nurses (60 from multi and 60 from single speciality hospitals) qualified with Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) and Bachelor in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing) courses using judgement sampling technique. The analysed primary data collected through a constructed questionnaire has found that nurses working in single speciality hospitals have shown higher perception towards work load, work time, loss of interest, work stress and inability to provide information than multi-speciality hospitals. Nurses working in both kinds of hospitals have shown equal perception towards health related problems, conflict and dispute, sense of commitment and morale. Nurses who are working in both kinds of hospitals with the characteristic of married, less than 30 years of age, drawing less than Rs.8000 salary and having less than 2 years of work experience have shown high perception towards impact of employee turnover on performance of existing nurses.

This empirical based survey research is descriptive in nature having quantitative approach. The aim of this research is to understand perception of sanitary workers towards various risk factors associated with heavy workload and its impacts on health, work and behaviour of the sanitary workers working in both private multi-speciality and single speciality hospitals in Tirunelveli city, Tamilnadu, India. In order to achieve these objectives, the study sampled 120 sanitary workers (60 from multi-speciality and 60 from single-speciality hospitals) using convenience sampling technique. Primary data were collected using schedule method and secondary data were collected from books and journals in order to support to the study. The findings of the study reveals that perception of sanitary workers working with both kinds of organization in the study area is same towards risk factors associated with heavy workload and its impact on health and work and behaviour of the sanitary workers.
This descriptive research has been undertaken in Tirunelveli city, Tamilnadu with the objectives of understanding the perception of the radiographers working in private multi-speciality hospitals. The study has sampled 60 radiographers who were qualified with Diploma in Medical Radiographic Technology (DMRT) 1 year and 2 years courses using judgement sampling technique. The study has used both primary data and secondary data. Primary data have been collected using the questionnaire method. Secondary data have been collected from journals, books, and websites. Both mean and standard deviation have been administered to know the level of perception of the radiographers towards causes of an occupational hazard. Kruskal Wallis test has been used to find the relationship between demographic variables and causes of occupational hazards. The results of the study have indicated that among the nine main variables analyzed to understand the perception of the radiographers towards causes of occupational hazards, organization structure, and policy, radiographer's specific, fear and safety have the foremost dimensions of causes of occupational hazards. Resources, workload, work shift, environment and hygiene have the next foremost dimensions of the causes of occupational hazards. Interruption, patient and communication, training have been the least dimensions of causes of occupational hazards. The results of the study have also revealed that the level of perception of the radiographers towards these variables has been at a medium level.
