Goblet cell carcinomas is a distinct entity which should be delineated from the classical appendiceal carcinoids. Its clinical evolution obliges a more aggressive therapeutic strategy.
Perforation is a rare but dangerous complication of duodenal diverticula. The nonspecific presentation makes the diagnosis difficult. Despite mainly treated surgically, recent case reports describe good clinical outcomes after conservative treatment. We present 2 cases of a spontaneous perforated duodenal diverticulum treated conservatively with favourable clinical outcome.
