Colette RANÉLY VERGÉ-DÉPRÉ * RÉSUMÉ-L'activité aérienne est ancienne et intense dans les îles antillaises. Outils majeurs de l'ouverture et du développement économique, notamment touristique, les aéroports sont devenus des attributs indispensables des villes principales et des éléments structurants des espaces urbains. Ils contribuent à renforcer la capacité de rayonnement des territoires qu'ils desservent et participent aux recompositions spatiales au sein des villes antillaises. Ce travail interroge, à toutes les échelles d'analyse, les interactions entre ces infrastructures et le monde de l'urbain, dans un contexte international plus libéral et sélectif. Il offre une clé de lecture originale pour montrer la diversité des villes et des îles antillaises face aux évolutions du transport aérien et de l'urbanisation.
