One hundred‐two cutaneous carcinomas recurrent after radiation, curettage and desiccation, excision or a combination of these 3 were treated by Mohs' technique (cancer chemosurgery). A 5‐year cure rate of 93.1% was obtained on the total series; this became a 96% 5‐year cure rate when 3 nontreatable cases were excluded. Mohs' technique should be considered first in the treatment of recurrent cutaneous carcinomas.
