Resumo: As Instituições de Ensino Superior são cada vez mais exigidas pelas empresas e pela sociedade para formarem profissionais com maiores competências e que sejam capazes de interagir com o ambiente de forma dinâmica e sistêmica. Para isso, IES avaliam os níveis dos seus profissionais de docência. O objetivo do trabalho é identificar quais indicadores de desempenho no ensino superior em cursos de pós-graduação Stricto Sensu podem ser agrupados e a sua influencia na qualidade do curso. Foi utilizada para análise a técnica estatística multivariada (Análise Fatorial). O principal resultado foi que os indicadores são agrupados em seis fatores: "Doutorado", "Livros", "Fomento 1", "Fomento 2", "Mestrado" e "Publicação artigo", assim os indicadores de cada fator influencia a melhoria do conjunto, melhorando a qualidade do ensino superior.Palavras-chave: Indicadores de desempenho. Técnica estatística multivariada.Abstract: Higher Education Institutions (HEI) are increasingly being demanded by companies and society to educate and prepare professionals with more competences and capable of interacting with the environment in a dynamic and systemic way. As a result, HEI assess the performance level of their faculty members. The aim of this paper is to identify which indicators of performance in higher education in Stricto Sensu post-graduation courses can be grouped and their influence on course quality. Multivariate statistical technique (Factor Analysis) was used for analyzing. The main result was grouping the indicators in six factors: "Doctorate", "Books", "Fostering 1", "Fostering 2", "Master", and "Paper publishing"; the indicators in each factor help to improve the group, thereby enhancing higher education quality.
