Introdução: O Fibroedema Gelóide (FEG) refere-se a uma alteração no sistema circulatório, conjuntivo, provocando baixa oxigenação nos tecidos, resultando em pouca elasticidade e subnutrição tecidual. A Drenagem Linfática Manual (DLM) é um método de tratamento para FEG que utiliza manobras manuais, proporcionando o estímulo do sistema linfático para condução da linfa pelos capilares, ductos e vasos linfáticos. Objetivo: Identificar o efeito imediato da Drenagem Linfática Manual no Fibroedema Gelóide em mulheres jovens. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma pesquisa de caráter exploratório, analítico, descritivo com delineamento transversal e abordagem quantitativa. A pesquisa foi realizada no núcleo de estudo de Fisioterapia com mulheres jovens matriculadas no 10 semestre do curso de uma instituição de ensino superior. Foi realizada avaliação para identificar a graduação e o aspecto clínico do Fibroedema Gelóide, realizada a perimetria e foram feitos registros fotográficos. Em seguida, as participantes que fizeram parte dos critérios estabelecidos, foram submetidas a uma sessão de Drenagem Linfática Manual, após a sessão foram novamente avaliadas. Resultados: Foi possível perceber a melhora do aspecto da pele, da graduação do FEG de forma estatisticamente significante. Houve redução do edema, melhorando também a perimetria, entretanto, não apresentou significância estatística. As participantes apresentaram-se muito satisfeitas ou extremamente satisfeitas após a percepção do resultado da DLM. Conclusão: O estudo demonstrou que o tratamento isolado da DLM para o FEG, obtém resultados satisfatórios, podendo auxiliar os profissionais sobre a escolha, contribuindo na melhora da autoestima das mulheres.
