Analyse des Weines. Zur Bestimmung des Alkoholgehaltes combinirt Julius L6we*) die Methode yon Tabari6**)mit der Destillationsmethode. Zu diesem Zweck wird ein mit genau 100 oder 150 cc Wein beschicktes DestillirkSlbchen yon 300--350 cc Inha]t in einem Bade yon gesattigter KoehsalzlSsung***) allmiihlich, anfangs auf 75--78 0 C., sp~tter zum Sieden erhitzt, j-) und die Destillatiou unterbrochen, sobald "2/3 der Fltissigkeit tibergegangen sind. Sowohl das Destillat als auch der Rtiekstand im KSlbchen werden bei genau 15 o C. auf ein bestimmtes Volumen gebracht und das specifische Gewieht dieser LSsungen bestimmt. Je sorgf~ltiger man arbeitet und namentlieh je genauer man die Temperatur yon 15 o C. innehiilt, um so tibereinstimmender fallen die einerseits aus dem specifischen Gewieht des Destillates, andererseits die aus der Differenz der specifisehen Gewiehte des entgeisteten und nicht entgeisteten Weines berechneten Alkoholmengen aus. Stets ist jedoeh das auf ietzterem Wege erhaltene Resultat um ein Geringes niedriger, als das der Destillationsmethode. Das Mittel beider Resultate soll jedoch nach L Swe der Wahrheit am n~tchsten kommen. G.
